Been there twice. I sympathize greatly and wish you a fast and comfortable recovery.
Already said a prayer for you my friend. Recover quick.
I hope they use a good knife.........you might want to pick out one for them.

How did you injure yourself?
You'll bump back quickly, I'm sure

As you're going under, just remember that somebody is going to win a knife because you're going under a knife! [beer]

I could make up a really cool story, like: I was out walking in a dark alley when I was jumped by a horde of thugs...armed with razors and lengths of chain...I fought them off without receiving a single scratch, and while I was walking away, I tripped on a crack in the sidewalk and tore three tendons in the persuing fall...
...but the truth is...
I was walking the family pet, a 80# boxer, when he decided to go one way while I was trying to persuade him to go another...-tug- *pop* "oh rats, I don't think my arm is supposed to look like that..."

substitute "oh rats" with a long string of swearing...
I didn't want to believe that my balled-up bicep, now located down by my elbow, was going to be something to worry about...I asked my wife for an ice pack, and used duct tape to wrap it around my arm, so that I didn't have to look at it.
But, the ice pack didn't "untear" anything.

unfortunately, after I realized what had happened to my arm, I lost my cool and gave doggie a swift kick in the arse.
He faired better than I did...and is laying by my side as I type this.

Ild say he didnt fare to badly then. I figure most would give a swift kick over that at the very least.
