CLyde just showed me this trick
Seems that you can 'attach' full size pics rather than thumbnails only.
Just use file attachment and browse to your picture on your PC and Add.
I'll have to see how much room some of this stuff is going to take up on my host. For now it's fine

Yeah, you heard me. You adjust to the host to what ever makes me happy. My posts deserve maximum band width and storage. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I rule this site.

Under the photos, what does the # Time(s) indicate?
The amount of times it was viewed though you don't have to do anything to view it.

Just trying out the gadgets. If this works, it is a picture of the view from my office at our base camp.I have an office in Cairo but I spend a lot of time out here too. We're 100 miles from the nearest town. It's not the middle of nowhere, that's just down the road and hang a right.I always heard of BFE, now I've actually been there!

Why is it so big? I've resized the pic in photo editor to 50% and doesn't change it when I post it.

Hmmmm, top pic measures 18'' across on my screen. last one is 9" but I had to resize it so much that it blurred. The middle one is from photobucket no modification and fits fine.Guess I'll stick to that .You can delete thes if you need to Melbo.I was just trying out the features here.I like the layout of this board.it has some really cool features.

also I just noticed on the x under the pics, the top one has 25x and the bottom one has 6x.That can't be times viewed then.Could it be something to do with the size?

I think it is times viewed minuteman. The times will vary as new people come to the thread and look at the post. Not sure about the big pics. I don't see them that way.
Sorry. I just asked this as a question in the support forum for the software. My bet is that it is the browser trying to view the pic off your system rather than the site. dunno.
I'll get back to you if I have any advice. This is the first issue of this. But, that's why I wanted to run this place priately for awhile to work out these things
