i never seen a 5lb tank we got them 20lb tanks that you just bring in the old one and exchange it for a new full one for $20.00 but to get into the program you have to have an exchange or it's 65.00 to get a tank without an exchange. so what i do is i find people who are getting ready to throw away their old 20lb tanks and i ask them for them and they are more than willing to let me take it off their hands and sometimes i come across them in the dump they are all out of date and can no longer be filled but they are a bottle and they can be used for an exchange so i take them in and i get a brand new 20lb bottle full for 20.00

The 5lb tank is small enough to be very portable and big enough to keep my Coleman Northstar fired up at high for a whole week during my camp trips. I already have a newer 20lb(found a old one and exchanged it) which powers another Northstar lantern on a dist. tree powering two different stoves and I also have an older 11lb to power a Mr. Heater and lantern inside the tent, now I just need a little 5lb tank, tired of changing bottles in middle of the night at the worst time.

if you are lucky, Coleman used to make something like a 2lb mini propane tank, hard to find, but my buddy has one, no OPD valve so refill it yourself.
