Oooh, I like that.

I wonder if turning the bottle on its side would increase the light transmitted and how well those commemorative 13.5 oz bulb bottles would serve?

A window also works wonders plus the roof won't leak

I was wondering how to secure the bottles into the roof so that they won't leak!
( lots of silicone?)
Besides, in my neck of the woods, you'll have the extreme heat and expansion, then in winters the shrinkage form the cold, and then, the expansion from freezing!
May have to use a mix of anti-freeze, or alcohol....
But then you might have the problem with cloudiness of the water...
Hmmmmm...
It's always something!
