Good place for Ex Floridians

Wow, I've spent a good deal of time in Jax and can't imagine running the heater between June and October. Hopefully that was good natured hyperbole.

Lots of folks from Jax eventually find their way to east Tn. Good water, low crime, lots of food production, and people are real nice. this past winter wasnt bad, got to 65 with sunshine every week so you could get your sunshine fill even in winter.

Communities with lots of preppers include: Tellico Plains, Madisonville, Thornhill, Washburn.

I am absolutely serious. Florida native + hypothyroid = brrrr 24 x 365. Had the heater on this morning, it was like 75 degrees. Tennessee is probably as far north as I wanna go, if I have the choice. Your area sounds great

That said, safety wins over comfort. Wife and I have discussed Montana.
