For all the monkey's in the TN area, the TN house and senate just overrode the governors veto of HB962.

This is the bill that would allow us to carry in restaurants that server alcohol for on site consumption.

The new law will not go into effect until 7/14/09.

    WOOHOOOOO!!!

    Interesting.

I find it rather sad that there has to be a bill stating that you may carry in any establishment.

I don't condone drinking and shooting. In thinking about it, I [personally] don't know any responsible gun owner that does.

I completely agree. Though I think a few years ago, before I got my permit, TN HCP holders could not even carry into places that even sold beer (gas stations, grocery stores, etc.)

And if you'd prolly die laughing at all the fear mongering going around. "Now I can never go out to eat cause I won't feel safe with all these guns around me!" Yep, some bright breeder said it. All the store owners "how are we supposed to enforce this law?" Well, you don't that's what the po-po are for.

Geesh, well hopefully some of my favorite places wont post, maybe I'll start eating out more now!!
