What's the big deal? You made a choice to smoke, not a very intelligent choice but a choice, none the less. Now you chose to not smoke, a good choice with many benefits but still a personal choiceon't you trust your judgment or your self ? You are the master of self and you'll either beat the addiction or you decide to be a puss and buy into whatever rationalization of the moment that you need. I don't have a vote in this, but my opinion would like for you to live a few more years so I can get a couple more those fine knives.

 

Don't think smokers find it so easy to just reverse that choice, I know my dad didn't; ...It's a big deal to Valkman and his family...

 

My wife still insists on burning our money and destroying her health, something else that will cost me. She says she can't quit and I say bull-shit!
This is a touchy subject around the seacowboy ranch.

Day 10 - going to see the family doc today who does not know I quit. I think she'll be pretty happy!

 

My mother told everyone she quit smoking, when in reality, she quit buying....She bummed them from everyone else.

 

Hang in there Valkman. There are so many great reasons to stick to it and make it happen. Your sense of smell and taste will pleasantly surprise you in ways that will make you smile and scratch your head. Life is great, and there is so much to live for, when you consider the other option. Last and most important is all the additional quality time you have added to your life to spend with your loved ones. All the Monkies should be pulling for you. I am!
