Hey Valkman, I have another request. Can you make a good straight razor so I can shave without having to throw something away? I know it's not your forte, but having a high quality razor would be nice. I can only find disposable straight razors around here. Yes, they fold up and my wife can only find them at a beauty supply store. I'd rather have one that can be resharpened and used indefenetly. Just trying to drum up some more work for ya!
I don't know, tell you the truth. I have thought about razors but never tried to make one. Maybe when I get back out in the shop I can try it - probably 2 more weeks.
No problem. At the very least you can go around and slice off everyone's cherry (from their cigs!) when they get too close to you! Joking aside, I shave with a (disposable) straight razor about once a week. I have a bad habit of not lifting the blade enough and nicking myself when I go for another swipe. I feel it instantly! You would think I would have gotten the hang of it by now, but disposable blades must have made me soft. I also use castille soap and a brush. I'm sure there is something out there better, but this combination has been good to me. When I'm done, no burn. A couple of days later, no ingrown hairs, either.
