Most people won't even realize all the occult symbols they are playing with.
Just look at the video at 2:02. The pentagrams lower point, which in the occult is its power, is at the White House. The one to the right of it represents Molech, an Egyptian God used in human sacrifice. They would build a fire in the belly of the giant owl looking figure and when the flames reached the mouth they would toss in the newborn child.
Just search for Bohemian Grove and watch the videos. More importantly, watch who attends these mock sacrifices in whats called the Cremation of Care.

    The "elite", of both parties.

The 60's peace symbol made a resurgence when my oldest daughter was in high school. I refused to let her own anything with it on it.
It is an ancient occultic symbol. It is an upside down, broken cross inside of a circle(the symbol for Satan). It symbolises the peace to come when Satan is victorious over Christ.

Most people don't have a clue about the symbols and images they see everyday. Hidden in plain sight.

Not disillusioned at all. It has been found on Nazi gravestones from the early 40's and inscriptions dating back to Roman times. Quite awhile before the advent of nuclear weapons.

PEACE SYMBOLor a BROKEN UPSIDE-DOWN CROSS: Like many simple symbols, it meant different things at different times. Some call it Nero's cross, linking it to the notorious Roman emperor who persecuted Christians. Centuries later, it was recognized as an old http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elhaz. After WW2 (1939-1945), it was found on the tombstones of some of Hitler's SS troops and labeled 'The Dead Man Rune.' Revived in the sixties by hippies and others who protested nuclear weapons, Western culture, and Christian values, it became a worldwide symbol of a new age of global peace and earth-centered unity. But many heavy metal rock fans would agree with Nero and have used it to mock Christ and His followers.

"Masonic and Occult Symbols Illustrated - Dr. Cathy Burns (p234)

"Known as the 'peace sign' throughout the 1960's and into the present day, this symbol is the Teutonic rune of death. 1950's peace advocate Gerald Holtom may have been commissioned by communist sympathizer Bertrand Russell to design a symbol to unite leftist peace marchers in 1958. It is clear that either Holtom or Russell deemed the Teutonic (Neronic) cross as the appropriate symbol for their cause."

Throughout the last 2000 years this symbol has designated hatred of Christians. Nero, who despised Christians, crucified the Apostle Peter on a cross head downward. The hideous event resembled the Teutonic cross and became a popular pagan insignia of the day. Thereafter, this sign became known as the 'Neronic cross'."

"The symbol's origin in history proves it to be the visual mystic character for 'Aum' (the split 'Y'). This is the sacred word to Hindu. Chanting 'Aum' is supposed to help awaken 'the serpent power of Brahma' at the base of the human spine. Occultist Albert Pike also identifies this symbol as mythical in his book on Freemasonry, Morals and Dogma. The peace symbol is actually a cross with the arms broken. It also signifies the 'gesture of despair' and the 'death of man'."

"The Germatic tribes who used it attributed strange and mystical properties to the sign. such a 'rune' is said to have been used by 'black magicians' in pagan incantations and condemnations. To this very day the inverted broken cross - identical to the socialists 'peace symbol' - is known in Germany as a 'todersrune', or death rune. Not only was it ordered by Hitler's National Socialists that it must appear on German death notices, but it was part of the official inscription prescribed for the gravestones of Nazi officers of the dread SS. The symbol suited Nazi emphasis on pagan mysticism."

"With the arms of the cross raised in an upright position, it is 'a Pythagorean emblem of the course of life, in the form of a rising path with fork roads to Good and Evil. It also signifies fertility but with the arms pointing downward, it denotes evil and death."
"In fact, the inverted 'Man-rune' - the figure encircled in the common sign which the Communists tell us means 'peace' - has for centuries been a favourite sign of Satanists."

"Anton LaVey, the founder of the Church of Satan, used the peace symbol as the backdrop for his altar."

"One former witch makes the following comment about the peace symbol : "It is an ancient and powerful symbol of the Antichrist. During the dark ages it was used in Druid witchcraft and by Satanists of all sorts during the initiation of a new member to their order. They would draw the magic circle and give the initiate a cross. The initiate would then lift the cross and turn it upside down. He would then renounce Christianity in all three dimensions of time (past, present and future) and break the horizontal pieces downward forming the design of the raven's foot. This ugly symbol is nothing short of blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. For one to wear or display this symbol is to announce either knowingly or unknowingly that you have rejected Christ. Remember, symbolism is a picture language, and a picture is worth a thousand words."

In Mystery Mark of the New Age, Texe Marrs states that "[a cross] with broken, misshapen, bent, or disfigured horizontal crossbars... symbolizes to occultists a broken and defeated Jesus. The 'peace symbol' is one example. It is an especially wicked symbol that has in the past few decades acquired favored status among many New Agers, liberals, and radicals in the peace movement."[197]

Ultimately this interpretation of the peace symbol turns up in books written for police officers. In A Basic Guide to the Occult for Law Enforcement, Herold defines the Peace Symbol as: "Broken Cross: Represents Jesus being crucified upside down. Initiates into Satanism invert the cross and break the arms downward as part of the initiation ceremony (in some covens)."[198] Anderson's Law Enforcement Guide to Occult Related Crime lists "The Cross of Neri [sic]/peace sign."[199] Dubois's Occult Crime describes the "Cross of Nero" as "blasphemy of the Christian God... Also used in the 1960s by counter-culture groups as a peace sign."[200] Lou Sloat's Texas Ritualistic Crime Information Network Occult Crime Manual lists peace symbols in an untitled list of symbols attributed to Satanism.[201] Rimer's Ritual Crime and the Occult: The New Youth Subculture includes the peace symbol in its list of "Satanic Symbols".

A symbol has no meaning other than curiosity when neither party recognizes it. People get little devil tatoos with no thoughts of signaling Satan and kids give the long-horn sign, doesn't mean they are Crips. The "peace" symbol took on a new meaning in the 60's; so what? The origins of creation began with a snake, a garden, and a case of pms.

I would have said the same thing 30 years ago, but symbols like the "peace" sign symbolize a way of life. Most people are just lemmings following the Pied Piper in their use of it, but the symbolism remains just like our recognition of the Golden Arches or NFL.
