    Love you guys.

I have been fighting off food poisoning for the past three days. Lost a bit of weight since I haven't eaten at all. Tried some bread just a bit ago and a little milk. I hear food poisoning is pretty serious. I only know that I vomited so hard that I nearly crapped myself, and I will forever test the cheese and meat before I indulge. Possibly become a vegan. We will see.

You are all lovely people and I thank you. ;)

Happy belated Birthday Broker. So Sorry to hear someone poisoned your cake, .... just joking ....lol.
    .
I know how food poisoning feels. No fun what so ever. I am thankful that somehow I ended up with the stomach of a buzzard. lol. Most edible/inedible things that would put down a sumo wrestler only give me minor discomfort, gas to the extreme, lol, and make my stomach growl loud enough to be heard by neighbors down the block.
    .
laughing doesn't hurt does it? ... oh well ... too late for that anyway.
    .
I hope your day gets better soon.[boozingbuddies]

Oh boy, the night I read this I was about as sick as I have ever been, suffered through the same problems as you Brokor, finally passed out on the bathroom floor as I was too weak to get up. At 3AM my wife finally helped me off the floor and into bed. Damn rough night. Seem to be ok now.

Brokor, I think mine was viral, but it was a nightmare. I threw up so hard Sat. night that it felt like I broke my back, hell it still hurts. Otherwise, i am all over it. We had some Promethasine (sp?), it is a prescription medicine that comes in a syringe and it is a paste. You squirt a little out on your wrist and rub your wrist together. I have used it a number of times in the past, and we break it out whenever someone is puking. It stops vo iting and nausea very quickly. Next time you see your Dr. ask for some. We keep it in the fridge but I believe that was our last of it. It is definetly on the list of must have survival meds.

Yes, but I think that puking is what saved my life (in my case). For other reasons, it is absolutely a great thing to have. If it could help stop diarrhea I would be stocking up on that sh*t.
