I used to burn out the spoon bowl but to be honest the spoon knife makes it a hell of a lot quicker and easier to make. Heres a crooked knife i made for spoon carving. And a fork & spoon.
It takes a bit more skill to fashion a fork, am going to make this my next carving project. Just got to work out how th get the prongs right.
To be honest bud a spoon is harder. With a fork you just use a folding saw to cut the pronges and shape then with a knife.
