NEW STAMP - THE SECOND TRY Apparently they think that putting hearts and butterflies on it will make most people not realize that the rest is Arabic and probably not something we want to support. <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td style="padding: 0in;" valign="top"> New Stamp - the second one!!! USPS New 44-Cent Stamp Celebrates a Muslim holiday. President Obama has directed the United States Postal Service to REMEMBER and HONOR the EID MUSLIM holiday season with a new commemorative 44-Cent First Class Holiday Postage Stamp. All you have to say is "No thank you, I do not want that Muslim Stamp on my letters!" To use this stamp would be a slap in the face to all those AMERICANS who died at the hands of those whom this stamp honors. REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of Pan Am Flight 103! REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993! REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the Marine Barracks in Lebanon ! REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the Military Barracks in Saudi Arabia ! REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the American Embassies in Africa ! REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the USS COLE! REMEMBER the MUSLIM attack on 9/11/2001 ! REMEMBER all the AMERICAN lives that were lost in those vicious MUSLIM attacks! </td></tr></tbody></table>
Yeah. I expect the next Muzzy stamp will have puppies and kitties on it...... You just can't diguise EVIL.......
zarazza.com The USPS may or may not honor these things, I don't know. You can make your own, an appealing thought for the narcissistic among us, as long as you don't mind the URL on your face. Now, this is one I really do NOT think zero had anything to do with, but someone did. Let the hunt begin.
What's a stamp? I didn't think anybody used the USPS anymore, which is why they want to drop to 5-day delivery week.
I do nearly all my monthly bill paying online, but do still have two that I have to mail off - so yep, some of us do still use the U. S. Snail......
I pay no bills on line. Zero. It all goes in the mail. There are zero "automatic" deductions from any accounts, and only one (for the internet) automatic CC billing. If the USPS goes down, I'll be racking up a lot of mileage delivering payments. I don't trust anyone else when it comes to personal data security. Why make it easy?
I think about the only snail mail I do is for birthday cards. So I buy the "forever" stamps, a roll of them lasts a LONG time. I think I use about 20 stamps per year at most!
I hope you are dropping off those payment AT the post office! Here in Memphis about a year ago there was a lot of identity theft. People were going around neighborhoods looking for the "flags" on the mailboxes, taking out items that looked like payments and "washing" the checks. With the exception of ME entering in an address wrong, my online bill pay from my bank has been 100%. No late fees, no missed payments, etc. I was always bad about remembering to mail off payments, so having the online bill pay works for me. I understand what you are saying, but it's just as easy to swipe someones mail and do a little shopping with someone elses money. Guess the best option is to pay cash for everything and have no bills.
Yup, it's on the way to the range (or grocery store.) I mean ON the way, same road. I've always thought the convenience of the red flag was convenient for all, not just the postman (who never rings twice.) (Then again, there are only two roads here ---)
