    Whoa.
    That's some tough talk.
I didn't think I hear that out of the mouth of a US politician in my lifetime.

I like the ad! More than a warning to the leftists to be afraid, it's a "call to arms" for the American public that have forgotten what our founding fathers stood up for and the courage they had. Hopefully it'll stir that special something within them to take action.

Naturally, the left will think armies of armed people are going to march in to their government offices. But in reality, we all know that we'll hurt them more not by pulling a trigger but rather than pulling a lever in the ballot box.

That was awesome! Like he says, the founding fathers revolted over a tea tax, and look how bad things have gotten.

Thomas Jefferson was truly gifted with foresight - he SAW what would happen, warned us of it, told us exactly HOW it could happen, told us how we could prevent it from happening - but We The People did not listen.......

In November of this year we have the chance to begin redeeming ourselves, and again in November of 2012. If that does not work - that old Tree of Liberty is way overdue for a good 'watering'..... [freedom]

If I thought it would help, I'd like to see the 'resident' handed a pistol with ONE round in it, and told, "Do the right thing!", then close his office door.

But I just know he'd screw that up too....... [yukface]

That is exactly what 2A is for.
As the video illustrates, it is well beyond justified now.
I will add this - IMO, it is not the best course of action considering the circumstances. There are more effective ways to turn them upside down.

At this point in time, realistically the whole political system in this nation has become so corrupt, so self-centered and greedy, that at best by simple voting, we only replace a rabid Ultra-Left Idiocracy with a Rabidly Ultra-Right Idiocracy - two sides of the same tarnished coin, Heck, they even have members constantly turning from one side to another, as they need numbers to pass this or that draconian legislation.
The Third Party cannot get anywhere, since they keep themselves fractured by arguing minor points while letting the important planks rot from within.

If and when a true 'rebellion' does occur, it will have to include a complete dismantling and rebuild of our basic political system.

AND the third party always seems to be used as a spoiler (Perot for example).
Though I still like Ron Paul.

Rebellion can just take the form of everyone sitting at home and holding on to their cash - especially on April 15th. IMO, that's the equivalent of a Neutron bomb in the hands of the people. They get dismantled and no-one gets hurt (more or less).

    A "general strike"

Withholding money wouldn't hurt the government, just us

My first inclination is that by not paying income tax would be an effective response, but then the reality hits that they already just print money or spend what they don't have.

With them already ramping up the number of IRS workers and with this administration, willing to sue Arizona for enforcing current laws, I wouldn't doubt threats of putting us all in jail with Obama's so-called "domestic military forces".

Hey, that's what those FEMA camps are for right?
I hear you, but I still say you can't squeeze blood from a rock - and then it also becomes a numbers game - a few thousand trying to enforce against 300 million scofflaws.

It doesn't take a whole lot to hold down many. I think the PKK in turkey number ~2-5 thousand and it still survives against Nato's 2nd largest army.

    Just had another thought:
All that printing they're doing is FRNs - which are debts incurred by taxpayers. So if the taxpayers shrug and walk away?

Combine that with general strikes as Tango mentioned for good measure.

Surely some of us will be locked up, persecuted etc. But all rebellions are really a matter of wearing out the enemy and making them go home - Vietnam and the Revolutionary war come to mind.
It would just work out a whole lot better than dealing with Apaches overhead.

Yeah no doubt apaches overhead, or pretty much anything overhead would not be fun. Need a way to defeat IR and thermal first.

to add, as long as the struggle ensues, the larger force would, as it actually has and currently does, continue to add to the smaller forces numbers through collateral damage. If you were neutral or leaning towards the larger power and the larger force killed your wife and kids accidentally or intentionally then more than likely you'd join the smaller force out of revenge.

This why alot say we are helping to increase the "ter5ro65sts" number by fighting them there.
