A couple of additions to my backpack.

I bought this little hand carved bone face a few months back because I liked it but couldn't think what to do with it until the other day.

I mounted it on leather and sewed it onto my Swedish backpack.

I used Imitation sinew and my hand forged awl from my hand made sewing kit

Another little addition to my pack is this button compass mounted in Walnut,this is on the left shoulder strap.

 

Dig the sewing kit. The face.... a little creepy.

 

stitching is getting better too.nice!

 

those are cool!... how's things going? and how was the trip?

 

I had a great time on my trip to Wales,everything didn't go to plan but it was fun.
