There are those of us, such as ghrit and I, who grew up before modern vaccines existed. As children, at a minimum we all got measles, mumps, and chickenpox but the greatest danger was Polio, the threat that was the greatest worry to our parents. In the same way I had my own child vaccinated against polio, I have my animals vaccinated against rabies, Lyme disease, feline leukemia, etc. There are potential dangers to the vaccines but there are also absolute dangers to the diseases.

you're un-real. I have counselled teen-agers with brain damage and you have NO CLUE.. NOT ONE what so ever. I have studied alzheimers and what pathways are damaged which result in the typical alz behaviors, and I'm telling you, you are not even close, you have no idea.. none, zip, zero.. none! I could show you kids with brain damage that couldn't the simplest of tasks, but could draw or sketch like professionals. My brother, he can't draw the number 8 using the infinity pattern as a result of a hit to the head when he was 12. But he can do plenty of things normally. Come back when you have an inkling of how the brain works on a basic level because you're insulting to everyone who has to deal with a TBI or ABI.

Call up the "poor girl" and tell her it's all in her head. ... psychosomatic.. what a farce..

I don't think you, above all people, should even discuss my convictions. Nor would I, yours. The phrase "Hole in a wall" comes to mind.

but there is a PLETHORA of evidence to support neurological damage from the chemicals used in the adjuvants of those vaccines that use them. Are you missing the entire context here? I keep telling you that it's the adjuvants in the vaccines that have them. Not the vaccine itself. Is that so hard to understand?

Prove that Mercury doesn't cause neurological damage.. nay, all heavy metals. Then we can talk.

I'm done discussing this issue with you. Thanks for showing me that people are still asleep in their little pink bubbles.. You go ahead and follow orders. I'll go my own way.

You assume here that all vaccine problems/complications and deaths are reported, or that they are truly reported as a vaccine death, which is highly unlikely, more often than not they are not reported, when they are reported I am sure it is some other underlying cause rather than the vaccine that is blamed.

You can make your choices to be injected with whatever the .gov, cdc and WHO tell you too, you can even make that decision for your family and influence the decisions of your wife, life partner or whatever it is you have...I do not and will not chance my children's lives and well being (well being is directly related to my wife and I not being vacc'ed) on some pharma's wallet fattening nor some bought science.

I will also add this is not up for debate with me after this statement, you live your life and keep your opinions out of mine.

This is not entirely true, this statment should have read since 2003 there has not been thimerasol in any new vaccines. There is a huge stockpile that they will use up prior to the thimerasol free stuff becoming "mainstream" enough to support your claim.

Here is an article (and the ability for you to search the site, for more evidence of autism on your own) that shows autism rates in amish communities... you know the people that dont take western medicine as gospel... they are way off the charts to the normal progression of autism through natural processess. (IIRC only three (3) amish kids got autism, two (2) of those three (3) did receive vaccines.

Strong enough evidence right there for my wife and my decision to be just and we sleep well at night knowing our kids aren't laced with that crap.

You can deny your sarcasm. It's there and you meant it just as you meant all of the other sarcastic comments you've made in this thread. You can be a lawyer about it, but ultimately, you're showing your true colors.

Indignant that you showed up with a bad attitude and insults. I made that clear, but this isn't the first time you deflected a protest that you don't have an answer for.

Speaking of unable to withstand scrutiny:
You still haven't answered as to why you vaccinated your children before you even heard of Guillian-Barre syndrome. Your research is lacking in your own implementation of your beliefs. I doubt you really care about the facts. Just about winning the argument.

Wow. You really sidestepped that one.
Still haven't answered the question. How does my not being vaccinated hurt you in any way?

This thread is an example of one unpleasant for everyone. It is obvious there will be no agreement, which is okay, but it is equally obvious there will not be an "agree to disagree" point. There is no purpose to continuing to attack one another. Please end your personal dispute in this public forum. My reluctance to lock the thread is because there may be other forum members who have something meaningful to contribute to the original topic - cdc pushes vaccinations for all, no exceptions

Me, personally, probably not at all..

Me, personally, probably not at all... But anyone choosing not to vaccinate willingly becomes a vector for pathogens, increasing the risk to all. Vaccinated and unvaccinated alike.

    Insults?

I can't control what you infer, and see no point in a playground argument about my intent.
Bad attitude, perhaps. But as for the insults, I've carefully made no personal attack on anyone here. I've attacked ideas vigorously. I'm thinking maybe this isn't so common here.
Well, as it turned out, I didn't go running around debunking all of the anti-vax myths before we vaccinated. Also, as it turned out, there is no risk of GB from the H1N1 flu shot. In point of fact, that particular strain of influenza had been on the radar for about a year before we vaccinated against it. During that time, I had plenty of opportunity to hear the opinions of real scientists and doctors, making the decision to vaccinate trivial.

Agreed. And on that note, I'm going to step out.
It took me until middle age - but I'm finally getting to know my own temperament ;)

Our warnings have not been heeded so I am closing this thread which is unfortunate because there may be other members who have something to contribute but will now be denied that opportunity.
