I'm unfamiliar with this group.
Trying to understand what's going on.
Is this a citizen's militia, not under the command of the national guard?

If that's the case, I will guaranty that these guys will be engaged by some branch of the US armed forces whether Army or National Guard.
Not denying their right to defend their own borders, but can't imagine them being viewed as anything other than hostile by this internationalist administration.

 

Agree , I' think they are citizen ( freelance) militia not the state guard. Guarantee "vigilantism"will prosecuted and demonized. Can't have the citizens who live there taking "sensitive" issues into their own hands.

Yes, AZ Gov. Jan Brewer did actually call for the activation of the Arizona State militias.

A friend of man in a unit commander for the Arizona Citizen's Militia and I read the e-mail that was sent to the State Militias by the Governor. This was on June 15th or 16th.

Then, on June 22nd the following was posted on the Militia's website:


All Arizona units are at RIBBON status as of 1200 hours MST 22 June 2010.
All units are directed to prepare for tactical ground operations along our southern border.

Please visit this website every day for updates.

What distinguishes those engaged in Militia from an army:

1. The authority for militia is any threat to public safety.
2. Those active in militia are usually not bound for a fixed term of service, or paid for it.
3. Those active in militia cannot expect arms, supplies, or officers to be provided to them.
4. No one has the authority to order militia to surrender, disarm, or disband.

All Arizona units are at RIBBON status as of 1200 hours MST 22 June 2010.

SHE'S the one in the Hot Seat, with HER state being actively and hostiley invaded by armed criminals. I support her right to use her forces - military and civilian - to defend her people from aggression. I keep hoping the Governors of NM and Texas will follow her example - no luck yet. Maybe they are awaiting the MS13 terrorists to take down the flag at their State Houses........

I have been working the border in AZ for 5 years now. I am also the northeast poc for the alarm and muster. I have talked with a few people in that area of AZ and no one has heard anything about this incident. My border group has direct contacts with that sectors BP Intel. They have also heard nothing on this. We believe this whole story was made up to be used as a fundraiser. We do know they have raised over $800 since it was reported, maybe more by now. Not saying these incidents do not happen, but we do not think this one actually did. If something like this did happen and it was reported, the feds would be all over them. The FBI already told us that no matter how justified a shooting we may one day have, they would come down hard on us just because they can. Again, not looking to ruffle feathers here, and some of you might remember me from whenshtf forum, but have not heard anything on this incident actually taking place.

Personally, I'd like to see Gov. Brewer tell Customs and the US Border Patrol to get the hell out of AZ and put her own state Border Patrol in place. Of course it would have to be created first but I think we can scare up enough people to do the job.

Jan Brewer, the governor of Arizona, was on the Fox news earlier, ( we have a media "blackout" on the incident now) and requested no one go to the border, as there was what she referred to as a minor "incident", but that everything is under control and no need for anyone to head to the border for any reason.....The local channels and especially Fox news ( channel 10) have NOTHING to say about any of this.

Hey man I was only saying that the people I know in Phoenix, Three Pts, Naco and in the Coronados did not hear of this incident that the ACM says happened. AND they suddenly raised $800 since it supposedly happened. If my group gets into a shooting incident then immediately after it we will film the results and get the video out of the area immediately, THEN call Border Patrol so we have proof. Too many groups go around saying this and that happened but never produce evidence.
