For the first time in about 2 years, I'm starting to get unsolicited credit card applications in the mail. All from the usual suspects: Capital One, Citi, Amex. I guess these guys are starting to lend to consumers again - just in time to boost the economy for the November elections! Get ready folks. This false upturn - if it doesn't lead to runaway inflation - will surely lead to a worse depression.
I don't think I've ever stopped getting the danged things. They may have slowed some, but never stopped. Oh well, into the shredder then into the compost.
On first signs of SHTF, I'm taking loans from all the banks here and putting them to good use... They can sue me in the next life...
I've been getting them too. Haven't used credit in 23 yrs, but I would like to buy a lot of food and water, other supplies and an AR10.
I wasn't joking about hitting the banks...If I see something going badly south, I'm taking anything I can from the banks, and going to the hills...
