I think it's horse-****. The only reason that parking spots here are so small is because they wanted to be able to accommodate a large number of cars.. pack'em in as much as you can. The more cars, the more people. The more people, the more potential money. Problem is, people started buying bigger cars again. I've noticed that our spots in a lot of the newer strip malls etc, have much larger parking spots all around.
