Israeli-weapons.com. First glance, looks good. Can we have a range report?

I stared a Jericho for a long time behind the glass case. It was a cool set that barrels and mags for like three calibers...... pretty cool.

I believe the Jerichos are made by IMI.

This is made by IMI (Israeli Military Industries) previously sold under the Uzi lable and named the Baby Eagle.
It was renamed the Jericho and comes in three sizes , full size ( like mine) compact and a much shorter model designed for a bag.
Callibers vary but from 40 down to 9 mm.
On the range it is an easy to shoot double action pistol that I have used for a while now and not had a single stoppage in a thousand rounds.
It is modeled on the venerable CZ of world fame and field strips down exactly the same.
Available in two tone, black and a stainless finish.
I have found this firearm a pleasure to use and the only reason you will
stop using it is that you have used up all your ammo!

I'm guessing its a baby eagle renamed Jericho. If that's the case, they are supposed to be really good guns, just heavy as hell.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have a question that's been burning in my mind for years: How do you pronounce "Prvi Partizan"?

BTW, how's their factory doing after the big explosion?

HUH...In the Balkans, we write as we speak and we read as it's written...
I'll try to phonetically explain, even though I never did that before.
All our letters are short red and pronounced...
English word "pop"...the P sound is how our P is red.
English "Greece"...R sound is our R
English "Volley"...V sound is our V
    English " E.T".... E sound is our I
English "Gun".. U sound is our A
English "Track"....T sound is our T
    English " Buzz"...Z sound is our Z
English "Not"....N sound is our N
I hope you understood me....And it means "First Partisan"... :D

If you are talking about the explosion in September 2009, 7 people died then, but it was an old part of the complex, the only one left there. Entire factory was moved to new facilities some time ago, except for that small division...Everything is normal now and it's business as usually...
And it wasn't as big explosion, as could have been, if other divisions were still there....Those were the gunpowder leftovers that blew up...probably old electrical wiring or machine malfunction...

I bought an UZI Eagle in .40 S&W when they were first marketed by UZIAmerica. I'm guessing that was 1997? I wanted one in .45 ACP, and even though it was in their catalog, my dealer was never able to get one in that caliber.

I had the size that was in between the fullsize and the compact. It had a shorter barrel than the fullsize, but a standard grip. It was a well made pistol, and had a coating that didn't rust. I loved the aggressive design, especially at the muzzle end. It came with night sights.

I eventually traded it on a used police Glock 22. Not that I didn't like the Baby Eagle, it was just that I couldn't hit well with it. The best I could group was about 6" at 25 yards. It wasn't the gun's fault, I let several other people shoot it, and they grouped about 3".

It just didn't fit my hand, so I had to let it go. A few years later I was able to shoot a few more CZ's. I shot an EAA Witness in .45 acp, and a standard CZ in 9mm. I had the same problems. I guess it is something about the those Tanfolio frames that I can't grab correctly...

    YMMV
