Breaking News Alert: Karzai's brother calls for U.S. to shore up Kabul Bank as withdrawals accelerate September 2, 2010 11:6:48 AM
    ----------------------------------------

As depositors thronged branches of Afghanistan’s biggest bank, Mahmoud Karzai, the brother of the Afghan president and a major shareholder in beleaguered Kabul Bank called on Thursday for intervention by the United States to head off a financial meltdown.

Kabul Bank handles salary payments for soldiers, police and teachers. It has scores of branches across Afghanistan and holds the accounts of key Afghan government agencies. The collapse of the bank would likely spread panic throughout the country’s fledgling financial sector. The hemorrhaging of funds from the bank accelerated on Thursday.

Most all of the world covets what we have. Most all also oddly disapprove of us. Seems like a contradiction to me. Personally I think it's time for the other nations of the world to stand alone financially as well as providing for their own defense.

But alas, the present administration will probably just print another trillion dollars, thus further devaluing all dollars in circulation, and give it to Afghanistan.

Do you really think all this is an accident or a coincidence? Do you really think that govt is unaware of how ordinary people would react on all these things: Mosque, Afghan bailout and now this grant? If you read the post on the site, entire article is written in anti-muslim tone, even though it was govt idea! The article openly says that all Muslims involved in this gathering and this grant are extremists and criminals!
If that is really true, does anyone believe that govt and DoD don't know about that? They have no intelligence about that, but a petty journalist has? Yeah, right!!!

What is next? They get the grant and use the money to build a nuke, aided by Iran?
Or they train suicide pilots or bombers? Or grow anthrax for home use? And if some big sheet happens, they declare open season on all Muslims in US, and all-out religious civil war, since non-muslim citizens have been angered and pre-conditioned for hate towards Muslims, which is quite obvious from the comments on that site?!

Watching all this, I'm beginning to feel like I'm watching a C class movie, with dumb script, dumber actors, and a plot so obvious and moronic, that going for a tooth extraction is much more fun then watching that movie!

Keep your eyes and your minds open! I have a feeling that worse is yet to come!...

    Peace!

Every monetary system in the world is controlled and owned by the same banking cartel. It's all a charade, so stop believing that America is "its own country", when in reality it is the new Nazi Germany, it is the next gulag, it is a proving ground for eugenics, mind control, and every social experiment imaginable. Your body is bought and paid for since "birth", foreign corporations own you and they own your mind obviously, too.

The "President" is no more to blame than any of the others who came before him since the days of Wilson. They are all puppets, they are all working to establish some facet of world government.

Please STOP with the insane squabbling over effects of the problem! If you want a solution, look in the mirror. If you want to make change happen, learn how to fight and survive. Everything else is just "fluff", and I want no part in it.

Bane, I saw this one on the local news. It was rather obvious that this guy's elevator didn't go to the top floor. We also had an evironmentalist whacko who had a bomb, hostages, and a problem with the earth's population as apposed to the various wild animals. The police shot him dead dead dead. As was pointed out the other day however, we don't hold claim to all the world's whackos. There are plenty to go around the world.

Yes Tac, I know...that looney could kill anyone else, anytime, but the Muslim question is a strong indication that propaganda worked in his case...Of course, he could have killed anyone, for any dumb reason, but what happens if propaganda rises and more and more wackos crawl out and start shooting?
I just don't like the way things are going...Too much weird things are already happening on this planet, and if you add governments, religions and human nature, things look even worse...

Thomas Jefferson warned us: bankers are more dangerous than standing armies. How right he was--and about many other events/situations.
About the taxi driver: Yes, I think we will begin to see more retribution against the muzzies. Maybe people are getting tired of being targets.

Retribution against who? Poor taxi drivers that happen to be Muslims? A guy selling groceries, but is Muslim? A doctor in a hospital whos crime is that he's Muslim? People being targets? Who targets them? Taxi drivers, teachers...any Muslim on the planet?
Only one targeting US people is their own govt! Always was, always will!

Bane, I for one do not believe the 9/11 world trade center attacks was anything but a bunch of disgruntled radical muslims who decided to kill as many americans as they could. Then there was the peaceful muslims who cut Dainiel Pearl's head off. I just woke up and haven't had that first cup of coffee yet, but those two are just the tip of the ice berg that comes to mind. There are many many more. Shall we really compare lists of good and bad acts of muslims, jews, christians, catholics, protestants, romans, mongals, thugees, canibals, egyptians, ..... where do you want to start or stop. How about the centuries old strife and atrocities, and history from your area. People act bad, and people react badly to the first bad act..... it has gone on since the cave man.

Regrettably, that is exactly what will happen. Random retribution in response to random attacks. Snakes are not all bad, but I'd say more of the "good" ones (that keep rodent populations under control) have been killed by simple association (and ignorance) than the bad ones (that randomly bite people.)
