Yes. here we go again. Imminent possible war with Israel on the 8th of September...yes 2 days from now.

Sure we have heard it before...but these intelligence reports indicate the threat is more serious this time. Armies are deploying to battle lines against Israel...and war councils are being held by the enemies of Israel.

Why do we care? Well let's just say it won't be a good domino effect on the economy of the USA. Most stocks will most likely plummet. And fear will rule the day.

If war breaks out in the middle east...hold on to your hats boys...the storm is coming.

Read the article here. YELLOW ALERT FOR WAR WITH ISRAEL

Oh and any of you familiar with HAWK from Stevequayle.com did you get the news?
HAWK announced today that he is going of the air to prepare his family for safety....read that too if you want. He gives a serious warning and general dates for the chaos he expects...coming soon. that is why he is leaving.

    OK...Read this

Baba Vanga - Prophecies of the Bulgarian Prophet

Everybody in the Balkans knows about Baba Vangja, and we all know that she was the best prophet ever! People from all Balkans used to go to her for prophecies and readings, no matter how ridiculous that sounds...
She was so well known and popular that people formed a sort of proverb connected to her name...For example if someone asked you what do you think which team would win in soccer game, the response would be: Why do you ask me, I'm not Baba Vangja!
BTW...Baba means old woman, or grandmother, depending on personal relation...

But "possible imminent" makes sense together...to me at least...but I could be wrong...

It is possibly also Tin Foil Hat material. Find it there, now. (No longer imminent.)

I missed it again! That's okay, it seems Isreal just cyberattacked them instead. Almost as good as the real thing, but not quite. ;)

I had not heard anything about this. What did Israel do? Cyber attacked what which computers? Guidance computers for missiles?

There was apparently a Trojan set loose in the middle east that got Ahmadouchbag's knickers in a knot because it messed up the control algorithms for his nuke plant controls. The above post pointing to Israel is tongue in cheek pending more looksees by the US, Russia, and a couple others that either are or might be affected. The program is evidently designed to mess with industrial control systems.

My Internet has been acting up...

Update your AV stuff. Seems like the Trojan is well identified and should have a counter already out. It's now a matter of finding who and where it originated. Seems also that it targets control systems, not the average business or home users.

Actually, I went from a 30 Mbps ISP 3 miles from a Google server farm to podunk internet at what they claim is 7 Mbps. The funny thing is how it hops up and down when I'm uploading or downloading.

Still beats the old Sat internet I had in TN though...

edit: I don't have AV stuff on this Linux system...

Cable. We have DSL available here but it's advertised at the same 7MBPS speed. My project trailer has fiber at 20 down and 10 up. i do most of my monkey-work there.

DSL transfer rate doesn't seem to vary here, unless something is running in the background locally. Sorta why I asked. Oh, well, thinking out loud. Anyway, I can't have cable up here, it's a number of miles away.

The speed test Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test always work out to about what they claim I'm getting but the throughput drops off when I'm transferring a large file- 100MB or so. In The Dalles, next to Google, I could download 1 GB in about 10 minutes.
