Here's a quick neck knife I made for a buddy who wanted one fast...
Not forged by me... it was hot and I was lazy...;) its a Lauri high carbon blade with a nice scandi grind...
cost me all of $6.50 for the finished blade... the horn was free and the bolster is a piece of wrought iron from the mid 1800's that I deep etched in ferric chloride to bring out the wood like texture... sheath is kydex.... fun for one afternoon... longest part was waiting for the JB weld to dry :0)
Not custom... not pretty ... but it cuts like crazy and works for my friend... he uses the end to knap flint as well... enjoy....

Thanks ... yeah... but I said I was lazy... kydex was just so much faster... took all of 20 minutes to make the sheath... ;)

Craig, So now what are you going do with all this spare time making "quickie knives"?

The knife and the sheath are great and functional.

Oh by the way yes I am still amongst the living.

    Hey Elliott...
I haven't forgotten your knives I promised years ago...
    My first cable damascus blades...
They are forged, ground, heat treated... just need to be etched and slap some handles on them.... should only take another couple years :0)
    Good to see you...
Was going to call this weekend and it got away from me...
You around this coming weekend or maybe this week sometime....
    3 hours difference right?
    Take Care,
    Craig

That's the very best part of all! My very favorite things are ones that are unique.

    Beautiful, as well as simple.

Where can one find Lauri blades for that price?

    Thanks,

    Tristan
