A foiled attempt at bombing a recruitment center with a fake bomb provided by "?" to catch the dirty bastard and keep us all safe will allow us to pass more legislation to support the Patriot Act. There is much talk about passing laws to allow "Domestic" terriorists to be treated as prisoners of war and by-pass their rights to an attorney and all of their constitutional liberties. That sounds great; fricking-A! keep us all safe! Who need the right to a trial by peers when a military tribunal can solve the problem with a firing squad? Those that would sacrifice safety for a few cival liberties deserve neither!

That also would mean if you are deemed a Domestic Terrorist you could be seized and held as a POW. Nice. Freakin' nice. The Goober-mint could determine that since I own X number of guns, Y amount of ammunition, Z amount of food, I am a "Domestic Terrorist".

Meanwhile, every instance is treated as such. This means if you are seen filming, you are treated like a potential threat and dealt with according to the police state mandates. We see it everywhere today...

There appears to be no escape from this prison. Resist and you will be quickly surrounded by SWAT. The only option is to OBEY, and that just isn't going to work for long. People need to start standing together before it's too late.

They are just whittling away at us slowly. Enough is enough.

I essentially posted the same thing on my facebook page and a former classmate that retired from the NSA jumped in and started waving the flag, uniform, dying to protect my rights, et al and when I asked him what part of sarcasm did he not recognize, he called me computer illiterate and that I should have used the sarcasm font. Does .gov issue sarcasm fonts now?

I ask this at least once a month:
When did love of country = love of government?

I love our country, I love everything about the land we live in. I just get a little pissed about the fact that our government was hijacked and a band of crooks is now sitting at the wheel.

You can still be for our country, for our troops, for national security and freedom and despise the institution that has engulfed and smothered every part of it.

melbo out before I start to drool.

I agree. Well said. (as you probably already know, Melbo) And I would like to add, we don't need "national security" in the measure it has been created in this modern era. Security of our borders, fine. Constitutional limited security, fine. Anything else, no Sir. A secretive government is a government out of control.

Obershturmfuhrer Incompetano has only to gaze into her bathroom mirror to see the greatest "Homegrown Terrorist" of this nation, short of that dingus sitting in the POTUS' chair......
