Dinner tonight was a nice, fresh, ( "he was walking around yesterday" fresh) thick pork chop on the grill, with baked potato, green beans ( turkey craw ), applesauce.....all produced on our place. Only the salt, pepper, and tea came from elsewhere ( which is why we stock a LOT of that stuff ). Then sitting beside the fire with wood cut from here, under lights that run off electricity produced here.....man.....if life gets any better than this, I don't think I could stand it !
