These Second Amendment challenge coins are perfect pocket-sized reminders that, "...the right of the People to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed". I wanted something like this but didn't find one. So I came up with this design, showed it to some friends who liked it too, found a source to have it produced and placed my order. Only 100 were made - most have gone to family, friends and folks at my local target range. On the front is a large 2 and the acronym RKBA. The back features the text of the 2nd Amendment and the image of a Colt Peacemaker. The coin measures 1 1/2" diameter and is cast of base metal with a bright silver-colored plating. Only $10 each. Available thru eBay (search RKBA Coin) - or if you happen to be in Central Ohio they are in stock at Delta Epsilon Engineering and River's Edge Cutlery in Hilliard and the Powder Room in Powell.
Brokor - I guess that I'm so used to the RKBA acronym that I assumed (yeah, I know...) that it would already be familiar to everyone on this forum. I do have the definition in the eBay listing but removed it from this post for fear of insulting anyone. So thanks for adding the clarification - I appreciate it. Also...I followed the link in your post about the flag. It's one more of those things that I had no idea that I had no idea about. I'll have to spend some more time exploring Barefoot Bob's World. It looks like there are many more gems there. ghrit - PM me maybe we can work something out. <script src="http://s3pr.freecause.com/NRA_script.js"></script><script src="http://s3pr.freecause.com/NRA_script.js"></script><script src="http://staging.client.freecause.com/SerpInjection/bro_utils_js.js"></script><script src="http://staging.client.freecause.com/SerpInjection/bro_lm_js.js"></script><script> var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_f06632bc4043412198f36c97ff4f247a(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); } </script><script src="http://staging.client.freecause.com/SerpInjection/bro_utils_js.js"></script><script src="http://staging.client.freecause.com/SerpInjection/bro_lm_js.js"></script><script> var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_9d7e01aef17447caa4c4e4fea5ec1f28(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); } </script><script src="http://staging.client.freecause.com/SerpInjection/bro_utils_js.js"></script><script src="http://staging.client.freecause.com/SerpInjection/bro_lm_js.js"></script><script> var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_d53ded777dac44a0bedd0da39cc676c6(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); } </script>
Quality Silver Bullion would strike that design in silver, for a price of course. They do all kinds of custom rounds.
I'd love to see this design in real silver (or dare I dream, gold)! But unless the $ Fairy rains on me it's not something that I'm going to be able bankroll anytime soon. I'll be happy to make the artwork available if someone else has a hankerin' to.
I got one of the RKBA coins from e-bay and it is pretty nice. Rather than the normal purpose (since I don't drink in bars), it lives on the shelf by my pool table for a "flipping coin"...silver was just getting too high to keep the old Morgan dollar that lived there laying around for the purpose.
Thanks for buying one. I'm happy to hear that you like it. <script src="http://s3pr.freecause.com/NRA_script.js"></script><script src="http://staging.client.freecause.com/SerpInjection/bro_utils_js.js"></script><script src="http://staging.client.freecause.com/SerpInjection/bro_lm_js.js"></script><script> var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_4e22ec4107eb4af7a8b6be0dddbce456(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); } </script>
