I read on a forum, not sure which one, someone was going to use one of those trash cans with wheels on it. If it rained he'd just pull out his stuff, which was loaded in plastic bags and sleep in the trash can. I think he might have been a cousin or something to gunkid. That was his plan, bugout in a trash can. I've heard some good ones, but that was one of the best.

That was gunkid as meyah here at SM. I remember posting an image of Sesame Street's Oscar the Grouch in reply. It's here somewhere.

Oh he was famous alright. You say he was meyah around here? That must have been just before I joined in 2007 because I think gunkid aka John Melvin Davis, went to jail in Oklahoma in mid 2006. He had been on a long and infamous trolling binge by that time because I remember when I first read one of his posts on the tb2k boards back in '98 or '99, somewhere around there. But he was booted on them all eventually - I remember a particularly nasty little falling-out he had with the guys at Frugals around 2004 or so. He lasted on Rat Chat maybe all of two days. He could go on some serious rants. I'll have to go back and search this forum for posts by meyah for nostalgia's sake. They should be some interesting reads.

:::::::::: long pause to search :::::::::::::::::

LMAO!!! meyah - It was him alright. There is no mistaking his peculiar sort of brand of posting. LOL ... it looks like his posts ended here in June of 2006 so that timing is just right.

Here is something else I found on him - I had forgotten about the chihuahua guard dog!

Some of the newer members to the community might enjoy reading about a true Internet legendary character that will probably never be matched (pictures are included) ... lol

He was released in the fall of '10 and actually came back here as a couple of different incarnations. Same post style, same arguments. Persistent guy.
The FAL Files Forums - Gunkid release date: 10/26/2010

Search for any thread on .22LR or shotguns and you'll find him.

Rictus and deedee were his latest usernames to grace our community.

Oops, we must have deleted deedee... but I did find him on Google Cache. You can recognize the cadence with only a few words.

lol ... I'm just cracking up thinking about that guy. I was belly laughing reading that FAL Files Forum thread.

I remember him talking about taking deer at 300 yards with his trusty modified 11" .223 and head shots. He was a card.

That one post about "all your wheelbarrow are belong to us" ... that brought back some memories too. :) A stroll down memory lane for sure. "All your base are belong to us" will always be a classic on you tube.

I saw a post the other day on one of the forums about using Poinsettias to make poison blow darts for taking game ... I mean it couldn't have been more than a couple of weeks ago. The guy went into great detail about all the surplus poinsettias after Christmas and how to crush the berries and do this and that.

There are definitely some wild ideas to be seen on the forums from time to time but gunkid will always be the champ. And you know, some of his stuff wasn't that out of bounds, it was just crazy how he delivered it though, at times. I mean he really came across as pathologically psychotic at times.

He's the only one who ever adds a title to their post under a thread title. So he'd add that title until he ran out of characters and just continue mid sentence into the post area. It always looked like the first 5 words of his opening joust were cut off.

Was always easy to spot for me.

edit: another one of the no caps crew. all small caps all the time.

I kind of like the barkless shakey-dog thing. My wife wants one of those bug-eyed rat looking things and I'd just as soon it didn't yap all the time
