.. but now I have to deal with it.

I live in the SF Bay Area, and it seems impossible to live anywhere away from an active earthquake fault here. Trying to prepare for the 'Big One' is a challenge, but I guess you have to be ready for local disasters pretty much anywhere in the country.

It must really suck to be tied down in a place like that, especially with the job market and economy on thin ice.

You won't ever find me in California. I can't even swim.

Whenever I think of California, I think of one saying:

LIVE FREE OR DIE...IN AN EARTHQUAKE.

By the way, I didn't say WELCOME!!! [beer]

Even though you do live in the police state HQ of the USA, you are always just as welcome around here as anyone else! Except maybe Al. [booze] No, just kidding, he's cool too.

    It's not my fault either

Meh...Here in my wonderful home state of North Carolina it is common to experience floods, drought, wildfires, blizzards, tornadoes, and hurricanes...all in one year...last earthquake to hit this area was in the late 1860's...gotta be careful choosing how to prep or it will drive you crazy...just sayin'[booze]
