We are now making a very rare public offer of FREE lifetime memberships in the Safecastle Royal Buyers Club. The offer is good for up to 250 memberships, or through August 5, whichever comes first. - To take advantage of this offer, make your membership purchase here (add the membership to your cart): Buyers Club Membership - Then click "Checkout Now" in the right column. Go through the three-step checkout process (clicking the "Next" button twice after filling out the required info). - Be sure to add the following code in the COUPON field in that checkout process: ITSFREE - Wait until you receive an email that says your membership has been completed (we have to manually set you up for your discounts and incentives). After receiving that membership-completed email, you can log-in to the store and see your discounted pricing on our many preparedness-related listings. For more info on why you need a membership, see this: http://store.prepared.pro/why-safeca...yers-club.aspx
Do you have low salt storable foods? With a lack of meds in a survival situation, salty food would be many people's demise. It is very hard to find low salt in these foods. We have to make our own.
This may be the last call. Survivalblog posted this offer last night and we blew thru our 250 membership cap and then past our next added cap and now again we have upped our cap for the last time to 600 memberships. We may have to end the offer by tonight or sooner if the orders keep flowing in like they have been. BTW, it's going to take a good long while for us to manually activate all these memberships, so your patience is appreciated.
No kidding...try an buy any pack of Mountain House and it has well over 50% of the salt you should have for the next few days. Backpacker's Pantry isn't much better.
Sodium is put into high-performance survival and adventure food because the body loses a great deal of sodium during heavy exertion. That said, MH is reducing sodium now due to many requests to do so, as many customers do not physically tax themselves at high levels or anticipate ever having to do so in the future.
At least you will know where you are heading. A lot of backpackers I run into have no idea where they are going. =P
I understand this...no need for Gatorade, but most hikers aren't putting in 20 mile days. It would seem they've designed a product for the extreme hiker/mountain climber. Maybe they need a product line called Prepper's Cache, or Car-Camper's Trunk. That way, they cover all the bases.
thanks JC, I was wanting to buy some stuff on the site and was fence-sitting, but with the free membership and discount, makes my mind up.. greatly appreciate it..
