Just got a survey request from Wild Blue Communications and when I finally got there the site was Wildblue.com/SurvivalMonkey. Would someone please tell me what that means. It had my full name in the E-mail.
Nothing we've done. I get a page does not exist when I go to wildblue.com/survivalmonkey I don't even know what a wildblue is... I can assure you that we don't sell, trade or share any information about our users
Melbo, I suspect that one of the Monkeys, that has the Wild Blue Communications SAT based Internet connection, has registered for an eMail and Web presents on Wild Blue's Server, and this is where the address is coming from. Wild Blue Communications competes with Starband/SpaceNet and Hughes Net for the remote SAT based Internet Market. send an eMail to that address and see if you can get the User to ANSWER, and figure out who they are. Could be another one of your Nigerian Buddies..... or something similar...
Now I'm not sure but a lot of large companies use 'Survey Monkey' to conduct polls and surveys. Now I'm not sayin' you need new specs but could it have been 'surveymonkey' and not 'survival monkey' perhaps? The email link might say something like WildBlue Customer Survey About Telecommunications Services
