Join the club. They banned me 2 years ago for asking the admins/mods a question. Said I was argumentative. It was no big loss for me to be banned from there. This is a much better site.
Too true and good point. I rarely contributed there as I do here. I did enjoy several of their forums, however. Guess I'll need my ISP to flush and refresh my cable thing-a-majig with a brand spanking new IP so I can go back to lurking in the squirrel's shadow. Or not. There are plenty of uncensored playgrounds to be found scattered throughout the interwebs. Byte

I am very happy to have run into the Monkey site, FIRST, and not have had to wade thru that mess, before looking around again for something better... Monkeys Rock.... as they say... Squirrels seem to be slackers....
The 'Squirrel Tree' does have a lot of good info, and I am a member over there. I just avoid the 'limbs' that get too religious. Most of it is in a special subforum section - easy to avoid. The remainder is like a cow patty - needs a little more care to avoid stepping into. Next is to simply don't step into the sticky trap of 'offending' their marshmallow soft sensibilities. Every forum has a different 'vibe'. Learn to adjust to it, you can deal with them. I am not defending John. He comes across as rather heavy-handed to me too - but it IS his show. A different type of tree than the Monkeys like to play in.......
We are in it for the prepping part and don't follow any religious or political agenda. Our supplies are to help us survive any natural disaster as well as other possibilities... I liked the commentary on frugal tac posted. Its people like the ones over there that make preppers look like nuts to the rest of the population.
