Is anyone else watching Torchwood: Miracle Day? It seems like a very interesting SHTF scenario from a sci-fi perspective.

Prejudice is never a good thing. Don't make what people say about the Tea Party appear to be true. Prove them wrong by not being the stereotype.

The Tea Party is nothing more than a bunch of peeved people. Trying demonize them for being fed up with the fiscal irresponsibility is demonizing about 74% of the nation.

Yours is a specious statement that sounds like something a liberal would spew forth:

This forum isn't a front for the Tea Party (I don't think).

Not everyone here is a member of the Tea Party.

Sapper John doesn't indicate anywhere in his post that he is a representative of the Tea Party.

Just because you don't like to watch two males fellate each other doesn't mean you're a homophobe...it just means you aren't interested in what homosexual males do in private.

Neither of those last two statements have a connection, so, I don't see how you made it, hence, the speciousness of your statement. [loco]

What is the stereotype? The one dreamed up by libtards because they're scared of the Tea Party's power and will use deceit to try and undermine it. Or, the actual stereotype of regular people tired of Washington's corruption and shenanigans? Let me guess...you picked #1...drank the Kewl-Aid and believed what the media told you to believe...despite the fact that they have no evidence to support any of their negative claims towards the Tea Party.

And by the way...most guys don't want to see other males fellate each other...that's just the way it is.

...in case you're wondering, I am a Tea Party member and don't ever wish to see two men fellating each other.

I had originally decided against responding to the young ones post, But since I have already been stereotyped by the PTB such as Janet Napolitano and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (being a white male,an adult, a veteran a conservative,a defender of our Constitution,a STRONG believer of the 2nd Amendment, and a Christian)I really don't care what libtards think of me.Appeasement is nothing more than giving your enemy an unfair advantage over you. So when it comes to my beliefs, likes ,or dislikes, I can be a rude, crude, and socially unacceptable person...never really cared what others thought! BTW,I am a Tea Party member there, emh1701...[beat]

Gad. Folks still think the Tea Party is an organized group? Nah, it's a state of mind.

This is nothing against you Guit, it is for the person you are replying to. I think it is SICK, don't ever want to see or think about it. I was not raised or brainwashed by the system to accept everything, can think for myself and if I don't like something I will not accept it.

Never saw Brokeback Mountain and never will. Had the wife go into the other room when she wanted to see it.

Aw now, I was having a bit of fun with wordplay. To me, a "phobia" is something you're fearful of, unless we're talking chemistry (e.g., hydrophobic). Let's take a few examples: there are several members of Congress who have 'ergophobia,' then, there are others who have 'decidophobia.' If you're like me, I am rather fearful of the TV show, 'The View'...and especially, Whoopi Goldberg...she really makes me shudder: therefore, I must have porphyrophobia.

But, I've never been fearful of a gay man (unless one was chasing me wearing only high-heels and a red boa while shooting a pink AR-15...but, it still wouldn't be because he is gay).

Now, the commie-pinko professor PC crowd will tell you that this phobia business doesn't have to include fear, but is characterized by hatred of. So, what the PC agenda-pushers have done, without anyone noticing is taking every prejudice under the moon and labelled it a condition. So, if you can't stand the sight of XYZ, you have a problem that is now a mental condition. By applying the "phobe" suffix to a name and calling you said name, for example, "homophobe," society has been brainwashed to recoil in horror at this and look at you like you have long ears and cloven hooves for feet.

I didn't have to wait long for 0bam0 to prove my point for me.

If you're concerned with Islamic fanatics, who have proven time and time again that they want Americans dead, killing more people in the U.S. in the future, you're an ISLAMAPHOBE.

Rubin Reports » Flash: President Obama Hints That The Biggest Domestic Terrorist Threat Is Not Islamism But Right-Wing Americans

When an airplane goes down for whatever reason, there is a drop in air travel. People illogically think that another one is imminent. When a person wins at the slots, people crowd around that machine wanting to play it--thinking it will vomit up another million bucks.

This is the fallacy of recency. Using a nut as an example of what to be worried about is pointing out an exception and because it's fresh in people's minds, they're fearful. Never let a good crisis go to waste eh? What's not an exception though is the steady pool of fanatics in the world wanting to kill Americans just because they're Americans.
