But glorified for a reason. And the Marine Corps' birthday is 10 November. I think the anniversary of the Marine Corps Reserve or something like that just passed.

My "squid" buds never let me forget that we are part of the Navy.

Appropos US Marines

I discovered a USMC supporters site with a library of dowloadable pdf files on USMC tactical doctrine. Much of it is at a level higher than might be relevant to survival retreat defence planning....but there's quite a bit of useful stuff that can be gleaned and adapted for the thinking prepper.
