Seriously! I just spent about 30 minutes talking to an Iranian (college) exchange student from Tehran. He has been here about 6-months. I've seen him around before, wearing a sheet and a towel. I spoke with him today because I noticed he was wearing "normal" clothes, and he had shaved. One thing lead to another and we got to talking about "home". He says he doesn't want to go back there. Says "one would have to be crazy to want to live there." Says he is pretty sure he would be "killed or imprisoned if the (Iranian) government knew how he felt after seeing America for myself (him speaking)". Looks like we collectively have corrupted a fine young Muslim. I feel sooooooo bad about that.
