Who is supporting these idiots? Must be nice to get to camp out for a month while the rest of us have to work for a living. Those bums get no sympathy from me. If they want sympathy look in the dictionary between $h!t and syphillus.

First they came for the communists,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

    Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

MysteryMet, The young people are our future! Sure some of them are there because it's cool, others don't know why they are there, some feel strongly that they need to speak out but are not eloquent speakers, others are very motivated and want their message heard.

Basically if you listen to the din around the country you will hear 'We are pissed off and won't take it much longer.'

They remind me of the generation before them protesting the Vietnam War.

I support them because I support their First Amendment Rights.

Amendment I to the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights. The amendment prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances.

To not support them would mean I should quit my job and run for president or maybe even King of the United States.

I agree about the first ammendment but the one that protested the Vietnam war that spit in the faces of our guy's coming home should have been shot on the spot. Let me say I was to young to go to vietnam but lost alot of family as did we all and the one's that did come home left a part of them selves in that jungle.

The one thing in this video it show's American goverment get involved in other countries with protest problems that is not American business. That's the trouble with our goverment they worry more about what's going on half way around the world and those people when they should be worried about here at home. They try and enforce our constitution on these other countries and force that goverment to give the same right's US citizens have and that's not our place. I could care less how they run other countrie's and how bad the people are being treated thats a battle the people of that country needs to fight, our goverment needs to worry about America and her problems.

No not die just I hate when they go to places to make a point and they appear so dirty and trash the area's and not all but alot of them prevoke the community and are met with anger. They should be more organised and make a strong point not surrounded by drama

Which that does have a ring to it King Visu Trac

Hey we did shoot the protesters.

    May 4th 1970, Kent Ohio. 4 dead 9 wounded.

    4 dead in Ohio

You Kent Always Say What You Want

Anyway, if i were king, i'd disband the parliament, hang the bankers and a few select CEO's, return stolen rights back to the states, push the reset button and then abdicate. :)

Too many of those protesters shouting for redistribution of wealth for my taste. The thing is most of thEm will be on the receiving end and not the giving end of that. I worked very hard for everything I have. I joined the military for money for school. I was taught growing up the value of hard work and tenacity. The problem is with the college age kids these days is that they want everything handed to them. They are the entitled generation... Not a good road for the country to go down IMHO. If they want to protest the have the right to as long as they are peaceful BUT they should have to follow the laws the same as the rest of us would and they should not receive any government sponsored support for their actions.

    The democrats and the unions.

Between the democrats and the media; the message of the protest will become whatever message 0bama wants America to hear.

I was under the impression that one of the things they are outraged against is that although 1% of the population has 90 % of the wealth that 1 % has more tax breaks.
    Ie:
a big bank pays 10% of its earrings in taxes but a man making $40 grand a year pays 15% in taxes.

So in effect who is supporting who?
(the numbers are just examples not real tax numbers)

as I understand it they have set up their own system of policing them selves, methods of cleaning and trash removel, cooking stations and a host of other amenities.
We should be studying them and their methods because something is working in their society.they are prepared.

Kudos to them for taking care of the mess. Prepared, well, maybe, but someone is shelling out big bux to feed them. Can't help wondering if it isn't a corporation --

haha, the people not afraid to get arrested are the ones that have lawyers.

Public defenders never did much for me neither.

The sad thing is being rich kids it will be a slap on the hand and said well they just trying to express their self. Now I don't agree with protester's becoming physical or prevoking confrotation unless it's in self defense in any form. It takes away from the cause they are protesting and makes the whole group look bad but we all know if was common class people they would have to make an example for the other's to see.

I would expect that they are supplying their own food for the most part.(and I'm sure some of the enterprisers are selling foodstuffs) but from what I saw on the news blurb they have kitchens and wash stations and sanitary facilities all set up that would make a government relief agency proud.
I could be wrong but I think they even have a lending library and other civilized comforts.a far cry from the usual chaotic mess such a demonstration would have normally been.I've been to some cities that are not run so well.
They are fighting a lost cause but hell who is not.

If i had a business or warehouse in the areas where they were protesting. I'd open it up to them for cooking and bathing.

If i had the money to feed them I would.
I would try to convince others.

This is their fight. We should support them because they are our children. Us GenXer's had it easy, easy credit, easy jobs, cheap gas, cheap food. We took everything we could, ran up debts and have now stuck the GenY with the bill and it's coming due.

We didn't have anything to fight for. Between Vietnam and Gulf war. Life was easy, the American Dream was calling.

Well some time while we were raising our kids, the Amerikan dream shriveled and died on the vine.

Our kids are never moving out. If we don't support them in their struggle to find themselves and be heard and to make a change. We are going to be supporting them by having them live with us until we get old and they put us in an old folks home.

We are going to have to support them one way or another.
