Howdy, figured I'd share one of my "Note To Self" moments. So this weekend we went shooting and I found a couple of old bowling balls that I thought would be cool for target practice. We started shooting them with the pistols at 50 feet and I should have known when they only took chunks out of them that it was a bad idea. However they moved so I didnt. About the fourth or fifth mag through I shot and heard the ricochet to my left very close, my friend was just to my left and slightly behind and felt it move her hair. Scary!
Hey, I'm most recently from TN and KY before that. I'm amazed that any of us can read or maybe you have some sort of text to speech program running?
I know someone stupid enough to shoot the galvanized leg of a high power tower with a rifle at close range, it was a long time ago and far away. He never did that again!
I know a guy, hmph, who wanted to try out his new "Snake Charmer" .410. He found a dead snake in a fish trap and laid it out on the bank and shot it, from 5' away, downwind. Nuff said? "We learn more from our mistakes than our successes" - I'm sure someone said that
Never shoot full CO2 cartridges at 25 yards with a .22...... they tend to 'shoot' back. <Naw, it weren't ME! My buddy was stoopid.......>
