Time for a World War

I was just sitting here noticing how the world is ripe with instability between Europe, the Middle East, and Russia undermining everything we do and Iran and Israel seem to be closer to the edge. It just seems like the best thing to reset the world financial markets would be for a good global war to come about so we can prop up our markets.

The next time around, I wonder if they will even call it a war or just some other name like "conflict" or aggressive action.

Well, we are involved (along with other nations) in TWO desert wars (was THREE, but I guess Libya has been 'won'?), armed invasion of our southern border states, and illegal occupation of our other states, and further terrorist attempts from the muslims, in our nation and other western nations. All acts of war in earlier times.

We are already in a WORLD WAR!! The Sheeple just don't realise it yet, and the Goobermint won't admit to it.

I agree we are in a World War, I also feel that we are in a Civil War and America is being torn apart from within and all hell is getting ready to cut lose. I also agree with Beast he stated in another thread we should bring our guy's home and lock down the defense of America and show the world we can not only take the fight to the enemy but we can also take care of biTness when the fight comes looking for us.[flag][stayback]

    Now wait a minute...
I do NOT want to go there!
I've seen a "police Action" as they called it, and I gotta tell ya right now, it's no party! I don't want this....
Now to be realistic, I beleive we are a mere tick of the second hand, before it all comes apart at the seams...I'm not too worried about the rest of the world, but I am extremely worried about us...I feell were about to have a second UN-civil war here...It is what keeps me up at night, and most of the day too...
Please,...be wrong? I'm getting too old for this stuff!

The war will not be between states and probably not even countries, well maybe at first.

It will boil down to a war between those that have, and those that have not.

First it will be between :
Those that are in power and those that are not
then it will be between those that have access to water and those that have not
then those that have food and those who don't
Then it will be those that have shelter and those who don't

And then it will just be us in our enclaves trying to carve out a new life in the aftermath.

Does it keep me up at night? Not really. Because there is precious little i can do to prevent the start of a conflict, it's not going to start in my back yard. All i can do is plan for the worst, hope for the best, and teach my children well.

I was "home" on a visit to my Mum in Scotland when the news came of the start of the Gulf War.....my sister and I watched sadly as Mum became hysterical and kept crying out over and over, I can't go through another war, watching and waiting for our young folks to die. (She had been through the Boer War and had lost family in both WWI and II, had seen her home destroyed by a German bomb.) At the time, I didn't empathize with her but now that I am elderly myself, I find that I am sick to death of wars and rumours of wars. What is the matter with the human race that we simply cannot live peacefully together. It makes me despair to think of the incredible loss of our finest young people in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflict.....and especially the horrific wounds caused by the roadway explosives.

Incidentally, my mother was a Prepper of sorts, although she would not have understood what we mean! When WWII broke out she put together suitcases full of clothing etc. for us and they were left in the hallway of our house. The neighbours had a good laugh at her expense but she laughed last and longest (so to speak!) - when the bomb fell on our block and the fires were coming closer to us, we simply picked up our suitcases, the budgie in his cage, and our food rations just bought that morning, and away we went, with no panic, while the neighbours ran around like those proverbial headless chickens, trying to find what they needed, under an evacuation order of Five Minutes! I don't know how she got the idea to "get prepared" but she did anyway and it was a blessing to the family that she did. So I guess it's in my genes!

So, here were are: We pray for peace, while we prepare for "whatever".
Back to square one....No wonder a few of us get "burnt out", as sometimes it just seems so rhetorical...But we continue on, regardless..It must be something inherant in our beings. We don't want anything to happen, and yet we prepare for the worst case sceanrio's....I have had a lot of people tell me I am crazy and wasting my time, my money and a lot of effort...
I'm OK witt that. After all, It's my money, my time and my effort, NOT theirs.
Suppose if you will, for one single solitary second, that WE are right?
No, I won't be laughing at those less fortunate....I'll still do what I can for my fellow idiots! Now, just maybe the shoe will be on the other foot? That's ok too....They can laugh, I will not worry about being known as the "Village Idiot"! I'm easy!

Oh no as long as there are not kids involved Im going to laugh I have even been working on my EVIL laugh HAAHAAHAAHAA. NO You are right I get the same thing. You are crazy what if nothing happens? I always tell them It give's me comfort to know if it did my wife and kids will eat and still have a little bit of normal in a time of confusion. Another thing i agree it has to be something inside of us and it called responsibiliy. As for the village idiot it's fine my Grand-dad always said "boy it's better to be smart and act dumb than to be dumb and act smart."

As for me, I truly hope when I die there are untouched tanks of water and months of food that were never used. But I will always be on the ready even if I never need because I have the best reason in the world to be, for you see this is why I prep
