I was trying to come up with something to talk to you all about... my mind drew a total blank until a co-working came in coughing... and without thinking I remembered something from my youth and said, "You should make some Yerba Buena tea!"

Naturally being that she's from Kansas she had no idea what the hell I was talking about...

well that's the word we called it by but it has many many names...\
It's also the easiest to acquire and most useful herbal remedy there is
Well there you have it... Yerba Buena... if you dont already have it growing wild where you are... go order some seeds... no real special care needed as it's almost a weed in its explosive growth...

Good stuff Mint... add some dried lavender flowers to the tea and it's the best stuff in the world to cure the "Croup"

I use the word Croup cause I dont now how to pronounce "laryngotracheobronchitis"

its pretty simple... Yerba buena...AKA Mint... is a wonderful herbal remedy...

in a SHTF and can no longer run down to the local drug store when your not feeling so good... you grow this stuff... make a tea and it cures your minor ailments like
    • for stomach aches, nausea, parasites and other digestive disorders,
    • for nerves and sick stomach, and
    • for fevers and headaches.
Why buy and store meds when natural remedies have been out there and used for tens of thousands of years... BTW parsley will also settle a sour tummy... something that's very common when you make a radical diet change... like having to eat nothing but MRE's or your caned dehydrated survival foods...

if your in a real SHTF the last thing you need to be worried about is dealing with the squirts or cramping up... you need to stay focused and in top shape...

Garlic is also a good broad-use remedy to keep around. So apparently is comfrey(never tried it or grown it, gonna try next spring though).
