I am taking several days off from work, centered around the Robert E. Lee holiday weekend, to enjoy a long-needed leave period. Had planned to camp and ride with my KLR buddies at a local campground, but an annoying leg problem made that impossible - so I am stuck home for the duration.
What's a bored Monkey to do.......?

Hey, lets do some handloading! I had ordered some stuff from a couple sources, and two orders arrived. Alrighty then!

Am finishing loading the last 165 of my 500-pack of 'once-fired' LC 7.62X51 brass, using British-surplus RG4895 powder and new 147 gr. FMJ bullets - a stock for my CETME.
Am also prepping and soon to be loading 160 rounds of 8mm Mauser and 160 rounds of .303British.
Already finished 120 rounds of .308Win.
Have still on order the stuff to do 100 rounds of 7.62X54R for my scoped Russian Mosin M91/30 Hex rifle. Lapua brass and Hornady .311 174 gr FMJ bullets. Probably get to those next weekend.

Found my coffe cans of .30 Carbine and 9mm Luger brass - already tumbled and cleaned. Get to those this winter too.

I may wear out my tumbler.....

I get like this each time an election nears....... Some 'inner need' Iguess. :D

My son and I went back packing and camping it was a great weekend for it here. Never got over 60 degs. I'm feeling old today after hiking up the mountain with a 60lb pack lol.

Now I'm ready for some lite stuff around the house. So after you load up all your ammo is it range time [gun]

No spousal unit, so I can do things only a dedicated batchelor can dream of..... ;)
I run my Frankford Arsenal tumbler ON top of my dryer. Love the drone.... so soothing.

Hunting Tuesday and maybe Wednesday, if the rain holds off. Next weekend, range day!

Ah well, hunting was a bust. Shot at a sow pig (considered vermin here, no season or limits) - missed her. "Wee...wee...wee.... two sows and ten piglets ran all the way home..."
Saw three pretty doe deer - but does aren't in season, only bucks. Could only watch them in the scope, full broadside, DARING me to shoot! "AARRGGHHHH!"

    Shoulda stayed home reloading....... ;)

You don't have to be single to rule your kingdom.

I got a couple of Skunks been making a nightly raid on my yard every night... your welcome to come shoot them for me... I'd do it myself but Skunks can be a bit too ripe for me ya know

The real question here is how did you get the lemon's? I feel like you don't just get the lemon's anymore. You have to plant the seed in the orchard, grown then tree, tend to it's fruit, and then sit in your rocking chair and gaurd it with a shotgun while it ripens. Once you have handed yourself the lemon's then you can make your lemonade...
