I would love to live down around the swamp lands but the people are good people. But they are like Mountain people if you are not from there you will always be an outsider. Which thats one thing I like about being from the hills of WV so cant say I blame them.

The swamp people are unlike another people on earth. Nothing like mountain people or hillibilllies. I dont think they even sleep, life is just one big party, most parties last 3 or 4 weeks. We all admire them but for myself thers no way I could keep up with them.

I am not fond of many of the male soap operas that have flooded the cable networks these days but I do watch Sons of Guns from time to time. I probably spend more time watching UFC on Spike than any other programs outside of the news on local network or Fox News. I would like to know when Deadliest Catch is back on though, those guys work their a$$ off for their money.

I figured you would be a BIG Fan of your Oregon "Gold Rush" buddies, there CC... Those guys are ALWAYS good for a laugh, or two, each week....

Not really but I did watch a few episodes of Ax Men when it was about Oregon logging companies. Working for the logging industry as a youngster was probably the hardest way I ever earned a buck, glad I do not have to work that HARD anymore.

That's shot in Oregon?! I haven't watched it.

Though, if I really wanted to watch people dig for gold; I'd check out one of those dating programs .

Most of those "reality" shows are nothing like reality (IMO).

No, Tracy... It is about a bunch of "Out of work" Oregon Guys, trying to make Money digging up Gold, in Alaska and Canada, and making every possible Mistake, and money wasting Idea, possible, before finally getting the process Right, only to find that there wasn't enough Gold on each Site, to make it worth all the trouble to Dig it out. This is the Judge Judy, of Reality Shows..... My Opinion...... YMMV...

The Production Company is the same Outfit that has been snooping around the Monkey, Looking for folks to head out into the bush and build a "Survivalist Redoubt" while they roll the film.
