Beautiful afternoon, spring warm and contrails against the blue skies of Connecticut. There were a total of 7 at one time but I only caught these 2 on camera
"Fighter pilot weather",as we called it at Tyndall AFB. They love to fly in the clear blue, cold (up there!) sky - jet engines run happiest in cooler denser air. Visibility 'unlimited'.
Yeah those zipper suits can't get enough of days like that and love making more work for the maintainers.
Don't worry... just beat it to fit weld it to hold... if it dosen't fot force it.... if it breaks what the hell it needed replacement any how... if these fail to fix the problem then r square the pilot... ( can't tell i ran a maintenence unit can you...)
I have heard tell.... I have heard tell....of British Standard Whitworth bolts converted to ISO metric threaded bolts with a small sledge hammer...... : O
