Hey just thought I would show you guys a deal I couldn't pass up. I have been wanting one of these from the first time I seen them. I couldn't afford $1,200.00 with trying to get my prepping done and plus I have my Springfield 1911. The other day a guy tells me his dad has one and wants $600.00 for it 5 mags and a 1000 rounds of ammo. It was to big for him to carry and he had it for about 2years. So I went and looked still in original box with sales ticket. Needless to say I had to explain to the wife that we had a new addition to the family. Im she likes 1911's almost as much as I do.
Great price on an excellent example! The 1911-A1 is the original "been there done that and won" pistol; the M9 will never come close.

It was alot of overtime to get it some it wouldn't affect the budget. I got to take it to the range today for awhile and when I got do it felt like I had cheated on the Ol-lady. I think now that I have 2 1911's Im going to try and buy some bulk mags.
I'm envious. I hope a hot case goes down the back of your shirt and brands you before you can get it out.
Great find! My wife loves 1911s as well. S&W really did a nice job on their 1911 I like them better than the kimbers. With a 1000rds you really paid about $350 for the pistol.
