Just looking at it reminds me a lot of my Walther P22 which isn't a bad thing. Fairly accurate and I am wondering if it can be fitted with a supressor.

Read some good reviews...Don't shoot the cheapest ammo in it..Should be a sweet gun to own...

I second what Gator said. It looks like the consruction mirrors the Walther P22. That being said here are a few things to keep an eye on:

    1. The firing pin can come loose, make sure its tight.
    2. The extractor WILL become gummed up if you use cheap ammo!
    3. Same deal with the extractor spring.
    4. Gumming up with cheap ammo can cause the slide not to lock back after the last round is fired.
    5. The same issue will cause the slide not to move forward into the battery...and it will still fire...which is disconcerning.
However, if you keep it clean it is going to be a fantastic gun!

Ya know why the Ruger beats the Colt... thanks to it's titanium firing pin and double springs... Ruger as eliminated the need for the firing pin block safety found in the Colt series 80 weapons... I've seen all those little parts on a series 80 gun jam or bind up more than once... the very reason hard core 1911 fans still prefer the series 70 pistols... that and the Ruger has some fine custom features standard colt would make you pay threw the nose for

No it's even better... you see Ruger did their homework first...
Some of those extras include a beveled mag well... ported and lower ejection port adjustable trigger over-travel stop and weight. elongated rowel type hammer for faster travel and better accuracy... barrel and bushing are milled from the same stock for better custom fit... I could go on but lets just say they started from scratch and came up with a real shooters gun

I like Ruger firearms and own more than a few. The only thing I cant get over with their 1911 is the black mainspring housing, pins, etc. It makes it look like they ran out of parts and substituted parts from another line.
