8 points for TN, but if a bill or 2 passes this year (doubt they will) we'll drop 2 more points. We have a couple of bills in the house and senate to allow employees to keep their handgun in their vehicle even if company policy does not allow for carry in the building or premises. Don't understand the "gun dealer" section for "record keeping and retention. Isn't that federal law that says you must maintain a copy of the 4473? love the wording they use "Employers are not FORCED to allow.." & "Colleges are not FORCED to allow.."
Many State have Sales Reporting Regulations on Handguns that duplicate the Federal Requirements. when I lived in Washington State (3 decades ago) they had a separate Handgun Reporting System, and those records are still in my Bound Book.... It is a State Statute thing, so you would need to read your state statutes on the subject. ...... YMMV.....
