Elites Hate Guns… Except Their Own February 22, 2012 by Bob Livingston Media Matters for America founder David Brock is the latest in a line of gun-control hypocrites to be exposed for what they are. In an investigative report on Media Matters — the left-wing advocacy group that coordinates news and attacks with the Barack Obama White House, liberals in Congress and progressive groups across the country — The Daily Caller revealed that the anti-gun Brock has bodyguards who illegally carry concealed handguns in Washington, D.C., for Brock’s protection from “right-wing assassins.” While his bodyguards were probably violating Washington gun laws, Media Matters was taking a $400,000 donation from the Joyce Foundation to promote an initiative on “gun and public safety issues.” The organization used the grant to send a representative undercover to a shooting sports trade show and then had him write about the experience. The article, Shot Show 2011: The Second Amendment Ain’t About Duck Hunting, appeared on the organization’s website on Jan. 25, 2011. David Holthouse wrote: To lure repeat buyers, increased lethality has become the nicotine of the firearms industry. Every year gun makers roll out new lines of assault rifles, tactical shotguns and handguns that hold even more bullets, or fire even faster, or boast new gadgetry that supposedly enables their user to kill other human beings more efficiently than ever before… It’s not just firearms manufacturers rolling out new, more deadly products every year at SHOT. Ammunition-makers likewise promote new bullets designed to heighten the damage they cause to the human body. While Chicago residents suffered under some of the strictest gun-control laws in the country, Mayor Richard Daley traveled throughout the city with armed bodyguards. He continued to support laws banning handgun licenses that would allow residents to keep a gun in their own homes. Progressive elites love gun control, especially if that means they control them all so the proles can’t have them.
Yep....plenty of hipocracy to go around. Stop by about any church on Sunday morning to see it if you doubt me.
That is the prime reason that solitude in the great outdoors is my church. I know what I believe, and I don't need the interaction of a social gathering to guide me. Also it should be noted that Jesus greets the sinners with open arms. They only have to sincerely believe and ask for his forgiveness. We are all sinners. ....... jus sayin'

I carry concealed to church all the time. Why make it a soft target? It's not like churches are gun free zones for people going there for a shoot fest.
My Preacher stays armed ,do that count !! AS far as the low life's go they only care about themselves !!!
Sure it counts. There's a shepherd prepared to care for his flock. Won't hurt for a couple sheep dogs to be in the flock as well.

I'll compromise with you, how about quick, but very painful. Maybe like a inverted crucifiction on an X rig and a funnel and some liquid draino. .. Stated only as an example of a fast but supposedly very painful death read about in a fiction novel once upon a time of course. No sensible person would advocate actual actions such as this upon our superb Washington DC leadership. Certainly not me, even if they have been directly and indirectly responsible for gallons of American Blood wasted overseas in recent days, weeks, months and years. No, not me.....
