I think that this is Israel's way of telling O-dumba$$ they don't care what he thinks and the are their own country and will do what they feel is best. Why can't O-dumba$$ just stay out of it until it affects us?

Israeli minister: Israel to decide alone on Iran

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel's foreign minister said Sunday that American pressure will not affect Israeli thinking on how to cope with the threat posed by Iran's nuclear program.
Avigdor Lieberman delivered his assessment on the eve of a key meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Barack Obama at the White House.
Both countries believe that Iran is developing nuclear weapons, but divisions have emerged on how to confront the threat. Israel has sent a series of signals recently that military action may be needed to stop the Iranians. The U.S., while not ruling out the threat of force, has said that tough new Western economic sanctions imposed on Iran must be given time to work. Iran claims its program is for peaceful purposes.
In comments aimed at Israel, Obama said in a magazine interview last week that he is not bluffing about attacking Iran if it builds a nuclear weapon. But he also cautioned Israel that a premature attack on Iran would do more harm than good.
Asked about the president's comments, Lieberman told Israel Radio said that Israel doesn't "dictate anything" to the U.S.
"It is definitely important to discuss the issue in the appropriate forums and make decisions quietly and responsibly. All this chatter does not help anybody," he said.
Asked what Netanyahu should tell Obama to ensure that Israel is not left by itself to deal with the Iranian threat, Lieberman said the sides would exchange opinions but ultimately Israel would act in its own interests.
"President Obama definitely doesn't need our advice," he said. "We are an independent sovereign state, and at the end of the day, the state of Israel will make the most correct decisions as we understand them."
Israel believes a nuclear-armed Iran would be a threat to its very existence, citing Iranian support for anti-Israel militant groups, repeated Iranian calls for Israel's destruction and Iran's development of ballistic missiles capable of striking Israel.
With U.S. elections approaching and the global economy extremely fragile, the U.S. and its Western allies are deeply concerned about unilateral Israeli military action.
Many analysts believe an Israeli attack would unleash a region-wide conflict, including Iranian attacks on American troops in the Gulf, and could damage the world economy by causing oil prices to skyrocket. It also remains unclear how much damage a military strike would do to Iran's nuclear program. Many of the country's nuclear facilities are buried deep underground.
A new poll indicates that Israel would much prefer for any military action to be coordinated with the U.S.
The poll, conducted by the Israeli Dahaf agency for the University of Maryland, said 81 percent of Israelis oppose a solo attack on Iran. It said two-thirds of Israelis would support military action if coordinated with Washington.
The poll, released on Thursday, questioned 500 Israelis and had a margin of error of 4.3 percentage points.

No reason Israel should require our 'approval' or consent for anything. They are a sovereign nation, whether the DemLibs like it or not.
Our having 'plausible deniability' for their actions can be a good thing too.

At the same time we should let it be known that we may not support them with aircraft and weapons, or nuclear forces if they do something stupid....

See thats one of the things that needs to stop, let the other countries know we are not the world police. If you get into it it's you and we are not going to lose our boys for something that you started and that don't affect us. With Israel I don't think they would be exspecting it I think that they would be one of the few countries willing to stand on their own. It is our bright ones in Washington that throws us in the middle of these things wanting to control all.

Regardless of the party in the Capitol or the White House

Regardless of the party in the Capitol or the White House, Israel listens to what suits its purposes and ignores everything else...so what else is new?

I can't think that Israel has ever taken much notice of what anyone else has had to say about Israel's policies or behaviour...but for some unaccountable reason that defies logic...some countries DO listen to Israel's pleas for materiel, and other forms of support in pursuance of Israel's military and political objectives. Perhaps those pleas should fall on ears as deaf as the ones in the Knesset when it comes to Israel's foreign policy.

Isreal is its own boss. Zero did NOT need to issue a condescending lecture to Netanyahu. Doing so makes him look more like what he is, an egotistical jerk and puts forward more reasons for the rest of the world to hold us in contempt as arrogant yankee bastards. Like it or not, he is our current face outside our borders.

I hate to say it but I kind of agree with Isreal and before anyone gets upset just hear me out. First O-dumba$$ has been holding these talks for years and Iran could care less. Isreal is the one in the crosshair, most of us Americans dont want O handeling our business why would another country want him to. Second if I was over a country I would try to work with other countries but what my country needs comes first and Im not going to ask may I do what needs to be done for my country and put the fait of it in the hands of others. Third and the most important it's none of our business who gave us the right to dictate to the world.

The 2 differences between the USA and Israel is........Israel has a covenenent with God and the USa doesnt, therefore Isrsel will existist from now on. The secont thing is Israel will immadeatelyt be nuked as soon as Iran has the ability to do so.

A friend of mine from Egyipt <who is a muslim> hopes the USA takes out Irans ability to produce Nukes, he says if Israel does it the whole reagon will be at war.

Why doesn't Egypt, or the other gulf states take care of it?
They could probably do it without using force. Also, they are the ones that will have the ecological disaster on their hands when Iran tosses a nuke, and Israel completely destroys Iran.

A third Diaspora in the making????

    </who>
    <who muslim="" a="" is=""></who>
<who muslim="" a="" is=""> Note1. Supernatural covenants have more than a passing interest to both nations. Israel's territorial claims are based on the Old (original) Covenant based on texts in the Torah: The claim that the United States of America is a Christian nation represents an alignment by the believers of the "New Covenant", based on texts in the New Testament with that particular belief. Many of the believers of the New Covenant, support the believers of the "Old Covenant" against the Infidel Moslems of no covenant. Hence, to some degree the effectiveness of the Jewish lobby in the USA. There are as many Jews living in the United States as there are in Israel, now you see why American politicians are very responsive to their Jewish constituent's sentiments concerning Israel.</who>
    <who muslim="" a="" is=""></who>
<who muslim="" a="" is="">Note 2 The existence of Israel as a nation state, will depend on how effectively it is able to defend its steadily expanding territory. Israel has been slam dunked a few times in the course of</who><who muslim="" a="" is=""> its history, starting with the first diaspora when the Babylonians destroyed the First Temple (586 BCE) and took the Israelites into captivity. The second great diaspora (73 CE) occured upon the destruction of the Second Temple by the Romans whom absorbed Judea into the Roman empire, thereby extinguishing Judea as an independant polity. Whether the present State of Israel survives as a nation state into the future is a matter of conjecture, rather than a certainty. God may, for his own inexplicable reasons decide..."Meh...they aren't holding up their end of the bargain...perhaps a third diaspora is needed, to remind them of their contractual obligations"...then again...Allah may say "enough is enough", get your Jihads rolling, because today is your greatest opportunity to enjoy the fruits of paradise!!"</who>
    <who muslim="" a="" is=""></who>
<who muslim="" a="" is="">Note 3. That is a possibility, but not an inevitability. It's as like, that Iran will use the Nukes as a MAD deterrent, similar to the mexican standoff that was the USA and the USSR's position for most of the Cold War. It is probably more likely, though again, not a certainty, that Israel will deal with Iran's nuclear weapon capability pre-emptively, before Iran can develop a Nuclear weapon and thereby gain parity with Israel. A lot hinges on delivery systems, and the practicalities of getting a nuclear weapon to detonate, where intended, when intended.</who>
    <who muslim="" a="" is=""></who>
<who muslim="" a="" is="">Note 4. Your friend in Egypt can hope what he likes, but the USA taking out Iran's Nuclear weapon capability, (even if the USA can accurately find them...remember WMDs in Iraq???) will still raise a holy sh1tfight in the Middle East, which may well result in the USA's economic destruction, and possibly opportunistic attacks on US sovreign territory. There are no winners when the next round of Israel vs the Arab world takes place. The only good news is that there may be 70K ultra orthodox jews wearing body armour defending a State that they do not themselves recognise.</who>

Thats the thing these countries have faught from the begining and if Iran comes up with a nuclear weapon they will not hesitate to remove Isreal from the face of the Earth. So who does O-dumba$$ thinks he is trying to tell them that they need to wait and let others who has a business intrest that could be lost when they have every thing to lose life, country and existance. We have seen how Iran has just done as they will with talks. They are using the talks to stall until they get the bomb complete. At which time it will be to late for Isreal and O-dumba$$ is going to give a speech about what a sad day it is and how Iran under mined the talksfor. Time for talk is over and Isreal should do what they need to do for their own.

With the way zero goes around behind the House and Senate to do his dirty work, it's refreshing to see another world leader pushing him to the 'back of the bus'. The world needs to realise just how utterly useless the First Idiot is.
And we need to let other nations take care of THEIR own business.

Yes, indeed....that's exactly how the folks in Grenada and Panama felt....but Ronnie was a little hard of hearing. And lets not forget when the little kiwis stood up to the mighty Eagle about docking US nuclear warships in NZ ports. The then US administration got all huffy about it and did it's usual diplomatic bulllying and bluster routine for a while, until the need for allies in it's own interventionist adventures led the two birds to kiss and make up again. Yes there are a number of nations who would be very happy to be left to take care of their own business.....wonder how long before we see US marines in Venezuela or a naval blockade around Venezuelan ports?? Purely for humanitarian reasons of course...or to prevent Venezuela from giving aid and comfort to a terrorist organisation.
