That is a lot of beard, wonder what it looks like when it isn't braided. Looks like built in paracord lol.

I've had one of those on order for over 6 months. Guy I go through can't find any--even Bass Pro says Ruger can't keep up with demand.

I put a post about a while back with a link to on for < $700.

A local dealer has one in the case.

How much? There was a write-up on them in American Rifleman a while back and they listed an MSRP of $829? maybe (could've been street).

Given supply/demand, I think dealers could easily get $900+ out of them.

Goodness, at that price may as well just get a Springfield TRP.

My wife just bought me one for my birthday last week. Right out of the box I was able to land my shots where needed at 25 yards no problem (after a couple mags to break her in)

Taking it apart to clean it was really easy also. I never had any experience with a 1911 before and found it pleasant to handle. I think it is more comfortable that my glock model 22 because the way the grip fits in the palm. Also being all stainless steel it does have some weight to it that tones down the recoil a decent amount. plus its all made in the USA.
