McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, McMillan Firearms Manufacturing, McMillan Group International have been collectively banking with Bank of America for 12 years.

Today Mr. Ray Fox, Senior Vice President, Market Manager, Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking came to my office.

He scheduled the meeting as an “account analysis” meeting in order to evaluate the two lines of credit we have with them.... He spent 5 minutes talking about how McMillan has changed in the last 5 years and have become more of a firearms manufacturer than a supplier of accessories.
At this point I interrupted him and asked “Can I possibly save you some time so that you don’t waste your breath? What you are going to tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you no longer want my business.”

    “That is correct” he says.

I replied “That is okay, we will move our accounts as soon as possible. We can find a 2nd Amendment friendly bank that will be glad to have our business. You won’t mind if I tell the NRA, SCI and everyone one I know that BofA is not firearms industry friendly?”

“You have to do what you must” he said.

“So you are telling me this is a politically motivated decision, is that right?”
Mr Fox confirmed that it was. At which point I told him that the meeting was over and there was nothing left for him to say.

I think it is import for all Americans who believe in and support our 2nd amendment right to keep and bare arms should know when a business does not support these rights. What you do with that knowledge is up to you.

When I don’t agree with a business’ political position I can not in good conscience support them. We will soon no longer be accepting Bank of America credit cards as payment for our products.

    So long BA

RH, when you post something, I almost always consider it to be gospel. Thus, asap I will be closing my accounts with BA. I have meant to for some time, but they hold my mortgage. I have 3 payments left, and I will close everything with them. When I close the accounts I will provide them with two copies of the McMillan Letter, one for their edification, and one to send to BA Corporate Headquarters. As a life NRA Member this is too much. Thanks for the post. [applaud][applaud][applaud]

I wonder how many closed accounts it will take before they understand that many of their customer's will not tolerate infringement of our rights; will it be thousands, a million? What is their line in the sand? They have already crossed mine and in the same way they can exercising their right not to do business with me, I will do my best to see that they don't earn anything from the use of my money.

I do not have B of A accounts but if I did, they would be closed within 30 minutes of reading this.

I think we should spread the word about a BOA boycott. I don't care if they be 'too big to fail' or not. We need to start voting with our wallets - the ballot boxes are rigged.

I sent it straight to the head of my local county tea party for redistribution via email and their website. It probably will get a few words at the monthly meeting as well.

CT is a major firearms (and accessory) manufacturing state, along with the rest of the New England Gun Alley. As commercial accounts, I would like us to make a preemtive strike against BoA before they fire us as well. Lots of other banking facilities routinely soliciting our business

I think its time we started asking questions about the politics and ethos of companies we plan to spend money with or let hold our money. When I see a 'No Weapons Allowed' sign I do a 180 and leave.

Aren't US citizens buying upwards of 5 Million firearms a month right now? It's time to make a stand and starve these entities out of business.

    Anti-Gun? You're not the one.

I have conducted business that way for a long time. If my gun is not welcome neither am I. If you look hard enough you will find those who welcome both.

I sent this on to several buddies, one of whom I know banks with BofA.
Bank of Amerika apparently doesn't need the business of some 80 MILLION gun owners and the many companies in the firearms, ammo and hunting businesses.

I'd caution to NOT do that - getting more credit cards in a short time, even if unused, will have negative results on your Credit Rating. Just say "NO" to the Bank of (Socialist) Amerika.

Since BoA is part of the Obama machine, perhaps they have insider info about a coming crackdown on gun manufacturers from the Obama regime?
It makes sence id Bof A is getting ready to divest itself of industries BHO is going after to shut down. Why have large line of credit in a company that is going to be shut down by the Government

They won't need to crack down on the gun manufacturers. They will instead starve them into bankruptcy financially by not giving them credit as was the case here. Same tactic Obama said he would use against the coal companies. Between this and the over regulation tactics that Cass Sustein is renown for they will collapse all firearms related businesses without passing any laws that blatently are anti-second amendment.
