Interesting article in the Examiner. Actually using "Tea Party" in any sort of military training scenario, even on paper, is an open invitation to an investigation and censure. It's much smarter to use fictitious names, even if everyone knows who you are really talking about.

That Seal knew the rules before he wrote that book. Being a Seal, or any other military member, isn't just about looking cool in a pair of sunglasses; it's also about obeying orders and respecting your chain of command. If you can't do that, you need to get out; and I fault none for following their conscience and leaving the military. If he wanted to write a book that could be considered disrespectful of his chain of command, he should have left the military first. Without discipline, you no longer have an Army or a Navy; you have an armed mob. If you want to be a Seal, stay in the Navy; if you want to be a political activist, joint the civilian world.
I haven't read the actual article written by the Colonel but having seen how poorly standard armed forces acting under a series of govermental decrees with sensational press coverage... In would think it would be a loosing propoisition... for all concerned...
