    Silver sulfadiazine (burn cream)
Cinnamon (bark form and pure essential oil)
    Chaga
    Colloidal silver
    Antibiotics (can buy from calvetsupply.com)
    Triple antibiotic ointment
    Aspirin/Ibuprofen/Tylenol
    Tea tree oil

Also, not typically a medicine --vitamin C or a good multivitamin. A lot of preps could be in the form of vegetables and fruits, but a good long term multivitamin can take care of a great deal of your needs and take up less space. Ordinary gardening and foraging could make up for anything else.

So far, some interesting posts. This week I have had the shear pleasure being shat upon by a 2 year old with explosive diarrhea and awoken 3-5 times a night by one child vomiting and shitting himself.

I would have chewable imodium in my pack in and more than I think I would use. Nothing will put you down and dehydrate you faster than peeing out your backside.

Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food :)
I don't stock any medicine I eat home grow food thats not raised on dead soil and I have taken the time to learn about the herbs that grow around me. If you walk thru a field or forrest you are walking thru a pharmacy, you just need to know which medicine works for your alment.

Ozarkgoatman 1000+. Folks unless you are one of the professionally trained members I'd like to relate what happened to me. I had dental surgery (simple root cutoff). The orthodontist and my GP both thought that penicillin should be prescribed because there was a very minor infection in the gum by the affected tooth. 8 weeks later I broke out in head to toe painful/itchy lesions. 4-5 weeks later after a series of doctors and hospital visits a chest biopsy showed that I won urticaria vasculitis. After 16 months of fairly heavy prednisone treatments my adrenal glands on my kidneys shut down. This had me totally exhausted, listless, without energy for the most simple things. My immune system was adversely changed by the penicillin so it attacked my skin organ and my bone joints. I had taken penicillin since a kid, in the military, and as an adult my entire life but this time...... My problems and their treatments continue but I wanted not to complain or solicit sympathy but to warn you that unless you know what you are doing be very careful. You may treat a problem and unleash a Pandora Box of complications. YMMV

You really need to look into taking coconut oil and cod liver oil to help your adernal glands. Go to a site its call WESTON A PRICE not my site nor do I stand to gain anything from it. Theres lots of articals on there if you want to try to heal yourself. www.westonaprice.org

I couldn't begin to tell you. I will have to wait till school starts. I'm gonna do the EMT thing and then the paramedic training. Might even see about working my way up to be an ER doctor. Might as well. After some of that, I'd be able to tell you.

After spending the 18 hours in the hospital #1 on everyones list should be:
2 Epi-Pens (epinephrine) I don't care if you are currently not allergic to say, Bees, Shellfish, Nuts or what ever.
Anaphylatic shock is nothing to fool around with.

This allergic reaction needs very quick response or the results will not be as good as they turned out for my son this morning.

Alaskachick (RN) agrees with you 100% Visu... EpiPen is a MUST in every Home MedKit, or BOB, especially if you have a know allergy in the family. We have a Standing Script for those, that gets renewed every year, during our Annual Physicals. That along wth a set of regular MEDs that we keep on hand, since we live so far out, from any Medical Help. (2+ hours, If they leave with 10 seconds of our call, and the WX is cooperating, which almost NEVER Happens) Just about ever MD will write that script, if you or your family has a known allergy. You just have to ask. .....

garlic - keep some in pocket and plant a clove ~weekly~ somewhere new
h2o2 - build an ozone generator to make it...
    rose-water - witch-hazel - i don't have a recipe for this...
salt-lick - large - buy one once a year and put the old one out where you want the dear to come
alcohol - 10 different quarts buried in 10 different holes - 1/2 of them pure grain
apple-cider vinegar - the kind with the nasty stuff floating in it - ?mrs. bragg's? - anybody have a recipe?
honey raw - "bee starter" they call the good stuff at the bee store... - if you put some of that bee starter in a hollow tree, you might get a hive...
penicillin culture - see cantaloupe penicillin making elsewhere on the monkey's site
cannabis - both kinds, zombie and grin - also has a price/oz near gold [there are still some states where this is too risky]
tobacco - raw leaf in bulk and bull's eyes - should have a price/oz near silver

it's been over 5 years since i've touched anything other than the above, not even an aspirin

    Acetaminophen
    Benedryl- liquid and cream
albuterol- not sure what to do when it runs out.

I probably would have listed many more years ago but many of our treatments have shifted to herbal/oral/natural remedies.
