Let me know if you have trouble finding it... I was surprised when I saw this... gonna try it today... I have a couple different duct tape brands including Gorilla... gonna try it myself and see.... seems appropriate that "Gorilla" brand is the one he uses :0)

My main reluctance on that would be having it work like an insindeary version of a ftickey bomb. Try to turn over the nest so it can burn then not being able to get it unstuck from fingers. lol Cool idea though.

Bear did you ever try this? I did and maybe my tinder bundle was too small but I never could get the Gorilla Tape to light. I did with my bic tho. and MM, yes that was a concern of mine too. Nothing like having a flaming pile of "tinder" that is stuck to your finger.

Here you go... nope couldn't get it to "flame on!".... but got regular duct to do it :0)
Observations... gorilla tape is much thicker than regular "Ace Hardware" tape... maybe the gorilla holds better but you'll get more wraps for your bug out bag or emergency kit from regular tape... depends on what you use it for... don't recommend relying on it for tinder... but there is a good thought... anything with glue or petroleum based content ... will probably work ... just depends on how hard you want to work at it :0)

    Gorilla

    Ace Hardware
